IF you’re reading this now, then it means you’re witnessing the soft launch of the new INQUIRER.net Blogs service, with @play the guinea pig, er, first of many blogs that INQUIRER.net will unleash upon an unsuspecting world, heh.
I’ve been blogging for over two years now, but I have to admit I’m excited and maybe even just a bit anxious now that I’m “officially” blogging for INQUIRER.net, and now that INQUIRER.net has committed itself to embracing blogging as a tool for delivering news and commentary, and for reaching out to a new generation of readers.
This is something that I and the other bloggers here have been advocating for, well, over two years now, heh.
It’s sometimes a bit disorienting to finally see your dream come true, but I’m excited to do my share in making INQUIRER.net a part of the blogosphere, and I hope you’ll all join us in this grand adventure.
I’ll migrate my previous @play Infotech column pieces to this blog, so don’t be surprised to find older entries. This, however, is the first official entry that marks the transformation of @play into a blog.

Wow, this is a momentous leap for the inquirer. Plus the power of blogs, it will soar higher for sure. A bright idea Joey, congrats!
