Would you buy the USB Humping Dog?

set_of_three_humping_dogs.jpgWE know that USB is pretty cool and all sorts of devices have come out making use of this technology. But this one takes the cake. It’s the USB Humping Dog which does nothing but… well, it’s pretty obvious what it does, right, heh :)

This thing is actually for sale at Digital World Tokyo. They come in three breeds — Beagle, Dalmatian and Chocolate Labrador.

The USB Humping Dog doesn’t contain any flash memory, OK — these dogs are made for humping, and that’s what they’ll do.

Here’s a video on YouTube. Don’t watch if you’re easily offended. This novelty item is meant to elicit a few laughs but the sight of this little dog plugged in to the USB port might be too much for some people to handle.

Here’s an excerpt from the Tech Digest article.

There are millions of rubbish USB gadgets, but the USB Humping Dog will at least raise a chuckle. We first wrote about it in December last year, when it was just another silly Japanese gadget that you’d never be able to buy over here.

Well, it’s still a silly Japanese gadget, but Digital World Tokyo has just started selling the sex-starved plug-in pooches for export to Europe and the US.
