Firstly, what you did is not in the dictionary or perhaps the dictionary is at a loss to describe what you did: stand-off? revolt? rebellion? failed coup? siege? take over?

Secondly, all eyes became blind because they failed to distinguish who was famous/infamous among journalists arrested, handcuffed, treated like common criminal. I mean, Ces Drilon, di ba tingin niya si-kat siya ng araw bakit sya naaresto?

Thirdly, for exposing the media people as an ‘it,’ beyond criminal actions, beyond being banal and common, beyond abuse. Only the police authorities are capable being abusive because they are not ‘it’–they are after all, common and people only.

Fourthly, for making the media confused and hence issuing confusing statements about their arrest at the Manila Peninsula–like what Maria Ressa’s seed of terror-istic statement: “If it can to media, it can happen to anyone.” Like, if media comes face to face with the police and the police asked them to leave and so that they could proceed with their own work, it’d put Philippine democracy at risk, like she finally admitted that she’s actually complaining about how the police handled the arrest.

Winner ka pa din Trillanes even if after your arrest, the media refused to arrest the entire issue by delving into the arrest of journalists while covering what you did.

These military people ought to think first before they act…How come they’re thinking that they are the solution to a corrupt government when their organization itself is corrupt??!! Clean their own organization first.., before they clean the whole government!

At may pera pa.

the country is in great jeopardy! amidst of two devastating typhoons that hit the country the irresponsible acts of this Trillanes doesnt earn him the right to be called a senator! instead of helping the victims of the calamities, the MAGDALO group and the two BISHOPS where not helping the stability of the country! if we were in the medieval era or even just 50 years ago they would have and should have been executed right then and there. Its very sad for FILIPINOS who voted for TRILLANES in the past election coz he just truly betrayed those who believed in him. this is not the right time to raise arms against the government who is trying its best to help rebuild the economy and stability of the country and its international image! I have been traveling all around the world trying to tell people i met along the way how beautiful our country is just to help in my own little way the tourism effort. But this selfish people are trying to ruin the efforts of simple filipinos like me in helping rebuilding the image of the Philippines. I am very relieved that i did not vote for this guy for senate, TRILLANES and company are NOT HELPING THE ECONOMY, with thier actions THEY DROVE AWAY THE INVESTORS WHO COULD HELP CREAT JOBS FOR THE MANY UNEMPLOYED FILIPINOS, They SCARED away the tourists at the Peninsula who will be telling their friends back to their respective countrie the traumatic experience they had in the Philippines thus putting down the chances of more visiting tourist to the country……. I JUST WISH THEY DID SOMETHING GOOD TO THE FILIPINO PEOPLE, it just shows that Trillanes and Company are a bunch of selfish trouble makers! FILIPINOS ARE TIRED OF THIS POWER GRABBING

It is understandable that honest men should be dead or in prison in a Republic where the President is a criminal and a thief.
