IS the YouTube clip for real? According to CNN, the military is investigating the video which shows a US Marine throwing a puppy off a cliff.
Here’s an excerpt from the CNN story.
It’s not clear where the video was shot, although the man who appears to throw the puppy and another Marine are in full combat gear with helmets.
YouTube.com had taken down the video by 12:30 p.m. ET Tuesday “due to terms of use violation,” according to a banner on the Web site.
“This is a shocking and deplorable video that is contrary to the high standards that we set for every Marine,” Marine Corps spokesman Maj. Chris Perrine said at a news conference Monday night.
“We will investigate this and take appropriate actions,” Perrine said.
He said the Marine is being kept safe in view of the anger over the alleged incident.

And while we’re at it, other videos of alleged US soldiers torturing animals are on YouTube. Some of the people who have left comments claim these videos are fake and are part of the “cyber war” being waged by US enemies. I really don’t know. You be the judge.

Look carefully; this film is spliced. At 00:11 the puppy just *poof* disappears from the view entirely and all you see is a quick flicker. The Marine’s arm suddenly jerks to a halt, and jumps too quickly to that overhand throwing motion / position. The pup at this point should still be able to be seen being tossed but it is not there. In a split second it is gone, far too quickly to be real — it all can be seen if you watch it over and over again from 00:09 to 00:12.

This has outraged me so much I just want to strangle the marine or push him off a cliff and see how he feels.. man I am pissed!!!!!!!!

that two marine should get the congressional medal of honor for being brave and fearless in throwing a helpless puppy off a cliff.
if they can shoot unarmed women, children, old folks, etc… what’s with a puppy?

that looked really silly and demented…two bored guys with nothing to do. shooting a video of something like that.
The puppy looked unnaturally clean, though. I don’t know, just a thought…

THE MARINE CORPS. SHOULD HAVE HIM
CONFINED IN AN INSTITUTION.
LOOK INTO HIS FAMILY BACKGROUND.
THERE’S SOMETHING THAT SHOULD EXPLAIN HIS BEHAVIOR.
