ELLEN BARKIN looks like Cameron Diaz.
In fact, call me crazy but in “Ocean’s 13,” she’s even hotter than Ms Diaz is in some of her movies. “Charlie’s Angels?” Drew and even Lucy was hotter. The movie I can remember Cameron at her sexiest was in her breakthrough film “The Mask.”
Speaking of which, wasn’t Ellen Barkin in a movie with Al Pacino before? (This I wrote before doing a Wikipedia search.) Turns out I was right — “Sea of Love,” a late 80s film I must have seen as one of those late-night movies on Channel 9 way back.
In “Ocean’s 13,” where Ms Barkin plays assistant to Mr. Pacino’s villainous character, her role isn’t much, no remarkable lines even. I guess she need not say much because her physique says it all. Her eyes exude sexiness, unlike Cameron Diaz whose eyes seem to bulge in a perpetual state of giggly joyfulness.
Ms Barkin is in the same league as other Hollywood actresses — Rene Russo? Susan Sarandon? — who defy age by being beautiful even at 50 and beyond.
Here are two more pics of Ellen Barkin. All photos courtesy of Agence France-Presse.
With “Ocean’s 13″ co-stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Arriving at the US premiere of “Ocean’s Thirteen” at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Look at the first and second photos, but closely at the second, and you can immediately detect the effects of - gasp!!! - BOTOX. I don’t know about you but I don’t find a face the upper part of which does not move to convey an expression (in this case, a smile) SEXY; on the contrary I find it scary, disturbing and downright unnatural. Why won’t some women, who are naturally attractive in the first place, just age gracefully? Also, a few lines here and there are a badge of experience, something to admire. They create the ultimate mystique and attract anyone interested to unravel the secrets behind the face. I think that the likes of Ms. Barkin should tinker with what the deities have endowed her much later in her life. That would be when those lines I mentioned become FOLDS!
