Here’s a video taken by INQUIRER.net multimedia editorial assistant Abigail Kwok.

And here’s an interview conducted by INQUIRER.net multimedia reporter Izah Morales.

Here’s another video from Izah, showing the lettuce bikini-clad ladies being shooed away by cops, who said PETA did not have a permit.

And here are more photos. All photos taken by Izah.

They want attention and they get more than that. Bet on this single ground they had been successful. A step further to an infinite number yet to be staged.

Its ironic why this kind of consciousness-stealing media-circus commitment can’t be staged or can’t be given to reformers calling for health services, education, agrarian, environment, electoral, judicial and other mainstream reformers.

Drive traffic to the circus its been efficient ever since it was employed by Rome body politic. Attention must be diverted to the trivial and the hilarious less the people would have their chance to the true affair of their state.

Good Job guys kung ganito ang mag po-promote ng lettuce marami ang magiging vegetarian at di mababawasan ang mga hayop kung hindi madadagdagan pa. What if we promote nationwide to sell lettuce in the market shopping malls etc. with similar profiles of the three ladies. I am sure na wala ng mag kakatay ng hayop sa palengke lahat sila ay magiging hayop na rin. Save animals save the planet be vegetarian.

haha i second the comment of erlie.. whatever these three sexies were really trying to convey, must be their “wares” or their gustatory “ideology”, i respect their right to adopt any medium to express the same.. the message is their for us to read, if people decides to gawk at the bodies then maybe that is the bonus.. i myself cannot see how nakedness could convince one to be vegetarian.. but what the heck, everybody knows the virtues of vegetarianism, but not everyday would you see the intriguing results of following its preaching.. it was unfortunate that me and erlie were not there during the “exposition”, it would have been a very educational experience.. query, though: is using lettuce as bra still part of being a vegetarian?? hahaha

Why can’t three women walk around Metro Manila without a permit?

the filipina, katrina, also donned the same as she tried her luck on Pinoy Idol http://www.pinoyidol2008.com

Wearing a red bikini, she held a heart-shaped card saying “Have a heart… Go Veg!”

they might be using a not-so-right vehicle for their advocacy… were they able to convince people?
