INQUIRER.NET multimedia reporter Izah Morales visits the town of Nagcarlan to see how espasol, one of Laguna’s famous delicacies, is made. She interviews Ester Almanzor, daughter of Belen Castelo, who established Aling Belen’s Special Espasol.

ang sarap ng espasol talaga. very proud to tell that espasol,together with kalamay, help my parents finance until I pass the cpa board exam. kaya dito sa doha qatar, pag may nag vacation i always request for espasol

espasol!,wow,miss ko na yan,lalu na yung espasol atimonan,…naalala ko noong bata pa ako at kasama ko parents ko pra umatend ng palarong pambansa sa lucena,yung bus na sinasakyan namin ay titigil muna sa bitukang manok or ime or tatlong M na tinatawag nila pra mag lunch pasahero,andoon ang espesyal na espasol na nkabalot sa brown paper,….i wonder kung meron pang atimonan espasol hanggang ngayon……….anyway,pwede nyo bang ma-i post exact address ng espasol nagcarlan,….alam ko masarap din ang lanzones dyan along the old riles…thanks and more power!
