Blogging ‘Heroes’

03/28/07

Posted under Science Fiction, TV

I LOVE “Heroes,” so much that we actually spoofed it in Episode 7 of hackenslash: the podcast, with more “Hero Sandwich” episodes to come.

Yeah, I know they’ve only recently started airing the series on Philippine TV, but, ahem, I found ways of getting my “Heroes” fix months ago, so I won’t spoil the surprise for those who are just discovering this amazing series.

If you don’t mind spoilers, however, one of the blogs I started frequenting when I got hooked on “Heroes” is HeroestheSeries.com.  Another interesting blog is Heroes Revealed.

Speaking of blogs, you have to check out Hiro’s Blog, which is a hilarious blog ostensibly maintained by the character Hiro Nakamura (played by Masi Oka), easily one of the fan favorites on this show.

You can also visit the blog of “Heroes” director and producer Greg Beeman

Oh, and kudos to Ali Lartner Larter, who plays Niki and Jessica, for being named by TV Guide as one of TV’s sexiest women.

Now, back to getting my “Heroes” fix and pondering that cosmic question: “How do you stop an exploding man?”

Oh! no, you cannot stop an exploding man ’cause you got to have another Stamford Incident! Or in this case, a Manhattan Incident, hehehe! Any Marvel Civil War fans here? LOL

The show does not say that Peter’s power absorption (?) is not reversible. Probably if all the heroes whose powers he absorbed embraced him and make a great group hug they could probably negate his power going haywire! Go Rogue! LOL

    Love, Heroes Style! LOL

How do you stop an exploding man? Sounds like a puzzle from Zork or Douglas Adams. Here’s a suggestion (warning, may contain spoilers for those watching on local TV): Get time traveler to stop time together with flying man. Get flying man to pick up exploding man and drop him off somewhere safe to explode. After he explodes and survives, get him sedated by HRG & co.

Or just get time traveler to stop time and sedate exploding man. Sedation was effective in Ep 17.
