When blogger’s block strikes

04/24/07

Posted under Blog Tips

YOU’VE probably experienced it at one time or another. Days when you just can’t seem to blog about anything.

We know about writer’s block, but since blogging is becoming a way of life for many people, I think we should make a separate category for blogger’s block, heh.

What do you do when blogger’s block strikes? How do you keep blogging even when you’re not in the mood — particularly if you’re a pro blogger? Are there days when you feel as if you’ve lost your passion for blogging? Share what works for you, and help others cope with blogger’s block.

And gee, looks like I was able to post an entry even when I’m kinda suffering from blogger’s block right now, heh. I guess that’s one way to deal with it: just blog it.

as a rule i don’t fight against blogging block. if i don’t have anything to say then so be it. i don’t force myself to write on something if i don’t feel like it. masisira lang ang tyempo.
nowadays, i am maintaning six blogs, including three pro-blogging sites, where i am required to write every day.
that’s probably a good excuse not to update every day.

When blogger’s block strikes, I walk away from the computer. I try to do other things like browse pictures, listen to a song or just stay still. Oftentimes, ideas flow when you don’t force them. And when the ideas do come, I write them down right away before they escape me. When i’m in transit, I jot it down in a notebook or in my cellphone’s notes. And before I know it I’ve accumulated a lot of ideas that I can’t stop writing.

    :)

what would i do if…? i will write about “blogger’s block” whatever that is. hehe. but honestly, i will probably try to be introspective and write about why i’m having difficulty writing anything. :)

There are days when I feel like I have a lot of things to say, but then when I start to write, it just doesn’t come out. Mostly, I just leave it at that, and then come back when I feel like it.

im now maintaining 2 blogs. haha!

now the thing about me having two right now is that blogspot is my default where i get to be mostly serious.

my multiply site though is like the “drunken state” site. i have this posts that are seneless and just meant to spill and nothing else. feeling ko tingin na talga nung ibang nagbabasa ng blog na ito, parang palagi akong naka-shot. haha!

pero ive been realizing that i am in bloggers’ block every now and then. like today, i had 2 posts. first one was a click and paste thing. no sense at all.. all emo. tapos ung isa, um, parang lasing ako. un nga lang, nag post pa rin ako. parang… journal ko na talga… post lang ng post. bahala na silang tumawa.
