There was a time in my recent past when I was so burnt out I thought I had lost the gift to write. Blogging has helped me find myself again.
My primary blog “Midlife Mysteries” (www.nancydrewandme.blogspot.com) talks about “everything warm, wise and wonderful about the life of a 40-something mother, wife and writer,” and I belong to several blog communities such as Christian Women Online (www.christianwomenonline.net) and locally, the Pinoy Moms Network (www.pinoymomsnetwork.com).
Blogging is a form of therapy. It is a way of processing one’s inner thoughts and feelings and finding other like-minded individuals on the journey.

As a father it’s also become a therapy for me–from stress among other things aside from my objective of honing writing skills. I’ve been prodding my wife to go into it but she’s quite happy being the blog reader but she tried it one time on our family blog.
The article was very interesting to read, i.e., finding out how other mothers try to balance life and cope with their endless busy days by blogging.

Being a first - time mother has certainly brought some new albeit difficult challenges for me.
Blogging has helped me to deal with these challenges better because writing about my experiences helps me to release all those mixed emotions: happiness over the miracle of having a baby, frustration over not knowing everything about being a parent and fears of not being a “good mother.”
In a way, I guess, blogging has helped keep me sane.
Through blogging, I’ve also connected with other “experienced mothers” from whom I pick up valuable insights and advice that make motherhood a bit easier.

I am not a mother, but I agree that Blogging can be a therapy. Happened to me too!

This is great! I agree that blogging can be therapy. It’s great to get ideas and advice from other blogs and support on your own blog.
After having our personal baby blog for over two years, we decided to start a new one that’s more of a community for mom and dad bloggers - http://www.babyblogaddict.com. It’s been so much fun to be able to share great resources and watch others use the site as a resource too.

For some reason the link didn’t work. I’m still learning. Here it is again:

I have a website and I blog, but it’s frustrating not to have any of my contemporaries ( my classmates back in elementary, high school, or college) connecting with me. I wonder if there are any who are into email, let alone personal websites. Ohh, it’s so lonely in cyberspace!
