I believe the Supreme Court will not acquit Erap. In the first place, it was the High Court that installed her to the Presidency

I welcome the guilty verdict on Estrada on the plunder charfges. Evidences are water-tight & crystal-clear. While the verdict legitimizes People Power 2 (kicking out of Estrada) & therby likewise legitimizes GMA’s assumption to power, it nevertheless demonstrates that corrupt leaders (GMA & cohorts included) can be jailed & prosecuted. The Estrada verdict is a precedent.

GUILTY.. okay. But will it bring food to a hungry family’s table? A job for a new graduate who aspires to lift his/her family from poverty? Will it create opportunities for businesses struggling to keep up with present economic difficulties? Will this finally unite a severely divided nation? NO.
