this blog is one of my favorite nursing blogs and we nurse bloggers admire all the work and useful info the author has put into it

I am presently unemployed registered nurse, graduated april 2007 and passed the board june 2007. with all these new graduates running around, what is the best option for all of us registered nurses. Hiring at hospitals are mostly on hold due to a very long back-log of applicants but not enough turn-over of nurses leaving their jobs for retirement or going abroad. I hope that there will never come a time that nurses will be under the contractual basis of hiring since there is a large number of unemployed nurses, it will not be good for the patients, the profession and all the professional nurses.

hi, im a nursing student, yeah sometimes being a nurse is fun but not at all times..actually this is not really my choice but as i got in to this track i tend to like it anyway. well, im just hoping for the best and just sticking with my goals for the meantime like graduating and passing the board exam… hope i can reach what this guy have reached…

Great article, when i was going through my certification and training to get my license I found some great information from the nursing journals on this site. Hope it helps and keep the great articles coming.

I just finished nursing school and while i got a job right away many of my fellow students did not. It seems the nursing shortage is a bit overblown and just a way for the hospitals increase the supply of nurses to keep wages down.
