JUST a day after a golf club mauling incident was reported, dozens of blogs are denouncing alleged perpetrators who happen to be high-ranking government officials.
Masui, Lanao del Sur Mayor Nasser Pangandaman, Jr. and several of his golf companions and bodyguards figured in an altercation last December 26 with Delfin de la Paz and his 14-year old son Bino at the Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo City.
It was later found out that Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman Sr. was also present at the golf club but was said to have not been part of the alleged mauling.
The incident was later blogged by Bambee de la Pazand was reported by several news organizations. Bloggers also picked up the story and have since been calling for an investigation over the incident while a few others called for both Pangandaman’s resignations.
Bambee de la Paz’s blog was reposted on theFilipinoVoices.com and received dozens of comments. Comic book artist Gerry Alanguilan also posted hisopinion on the matter, while Juned Sonido also had his take on the issue.
Blogger Tonyo Cruz listed several messages from other bloggers in Global Voices. Filipina Mom Bloggerlisted down other blogs that are showing outrage for the alleged mauling.
Manuel Quezon III wrote a scathing commentary where he relates the incident to the warlord culture in the provinces.

An independent investigation by the Valley Golf & Country Club ruled that it was dela Paz and not Pangandaman who instigated the brawl at hole #5. Numerous witnesses said the elder dela Paz started the brawl by hitting the Mayor with his umbrella. For instigating the brawl, the Club has expelled Delfin dela Paz from its roster.
Now that the truth (which is vastly different from what Bambee had portrayed in her blog) is out, will those who made nasty remarks about the Pangandamans be honest enough to admit they were wrong and man enough to take back what they said? Personally, I have doubts.

whether your opponent is rich or famous and you think you are right and you feel you are abused…fight for your right. just like what happen in golf club, 2 fat siblings of arrogant government official with their bodyguards beat up a small kid, and bambee knows they are right and abused thats why her family is fighting.
All i can say is they should RESIGN all of them. As for the 2 fat siblings YOU BOTH ARE GAYS for beating a small kid.

Politicians should bear in mind that no one is above the law - not even them. If they had behaved nicely towards the incidents bloggers all over the Philippines (who by the way are just expressing their musings) won’t make a big deal out of it.
To the maulers: Sana kasi nag-isipisip kayo na nasa cyberage na tayo at walang makakaligtas sa mga mata ng tao….yun lang thank you….

Just read on paper this morning, Quote The palace spokesperson stated that the pre-emtive suspension called by Atty. Fortun for Both DAR Sec. and Mayor is too early and waiting for initial report from N.B.I? Oh wow.. only in Pinas I guess, Actually i,t is already to late for suspension It should have been handed right after, it was to known that the Mayor lay a hand on 14years kid…and while the DAR Secretary is in the vicinity…If those things were to happened in United Sates.. Every Major newspaper in this country will be outrage as well as all Major T.V Network to include all the Cable news and Night show, talk show host…will carry it live and condemn…But in Pinas except for Pinky Webb who has guts as journalist continue to bring the issue on the air..I did not see any from GMA network… but , maybe I missed it.. I saw it again last night Pinky Webb with live on scene reporter are covering the filing of the case by Atty. Fortun…whereas in news Balance they also cover the events by the Pngandaman (mayor) Wondering what kind of case He will bring agaisnt an 14 years old.. and It was about the caddies account… No offense to caddies ok..but they want thier work to continue after all, most of them work for Tips.. of about five hundreds and sometimes more if the players are generous, But I will not be mad or angry to caddies statement.. after all being caddies is not really permanent job… or is it..? Besides they want to continue earning money for themselves and thier families.. therefore I will not place any stock with thier statement… Now for those folks that work in office… most of them are college Graduates.. They can find another employment elsewhere.. if its the same officeworkers in Eagle Ridge, Riviera, Orchards, Highland. and the one in Silang…Cavite.. Golf courses, they were all very attractives and very proffesional ladies.. We all went to the same sacrifice Just so, in my recolection , saw My Eldest Son Graduate in college with Electrical Engineer… and another who still in College..We work hard…so we can give them everything that we did not have growing up… ( in Pinas) Now My elsdest Son is an Electrical Engineer graduated from University of Calififornia Regents… of Riverside and MBA’S from Texas A& M, As you all can see we place our kids above anything else…We really don’t want to see any Grown up man Beating up on our Little ones…
