A lot of people used social media to condemn Hayden Kho for his actions, which eventually led to a full-blown Senate hearing (not that I’m agreeing that we should have a Senate hearing for a sex scandal). Now his supporters are relying on Social Media to support and defend him. I was given a link by a good friend through Yahoo Messenger. Apparently, someone made a blog called “Give Hayden a Chance“.

supporthayden

The first post entitled “Let’s give Hayden a chance“, already has 16 comments as of this writing. The site counter on the sidebar also shows that around 400+ people have already dropped by the site. I’m guessing that it’s only a matter of time before the hundreds become thousands then maybe even millions.

It’s a bit annoying and amazing that this issue has been completely blown out of proportion. I fully support the women… but a Senate hearing for a sex scandal? Shouldn’t we be paying more attention to Swine Flu and the fact that there are 14 confirmed cases already in the Philippines? I can understand social media going “gaga” over the Hayden scandals because it’s a human interest story but for institutions to go as far as they have… man!

why feast on this not-so-merry-go-round-circus by the highest juducial branch of govt (the senate of course, idiot) kindly tackle on a more serious issue. just leave the showbiz issue please……….

Nami

Yes all of us need a chance to uplift our life no matter how worst you are in public.

this case of hayden kho is really nakakahiya. aside from him, i laargely blame his legal team for those silly alibi: being psychotic and drugs. in other countries, hindi na tinatanggap ng mga lawyers ang ganitong kaso. they just leave the predator to be rehabilitated in jail. talagang hindi na talagang dapat pagtiwalaan and mga abogado sa pinas. they (a lot of them) were trained to be liers. many of them cannot argue their case. so, they resort to case fixing or resort to extensive lies. if they behave this way, talagang hindi na titino and pilipino soceity.

Hayden Cam

Yeah give Hayden Kho a chance … a chance to victimize more innocent and trusting young women.

Cris

I always believe to condemn on the sin and not the sinner. Di lang naman kasalanan ni Dr. Hayden Kho ang nangyari, kung walang malalanding babae, it could not have happened too. Sino bang lalaki ang tumatanggi sa babaeng nag o-offer ng kaligayahan sa kanila, maliban lang kung impotent sila. Too much has been said against Dr. Hayden, he’s been judged already. I know there are less of them, the only thing was they used the media so much to sensationalized the issue. Unfortunately, yung mga kumakampi kay Hayden was just in silent. I like Carlin Aguilar in defense of Dr. Hayden, she’s really a friend. Itong si Bong Revilla and Lolit Solis are the two shreks who involved themselves too much not even realizing that they are the least credible people to talk about the things that tackles issues of culture and morality. Bong Revilla being a son of a well known womanizer, he’s too has been involved with different celebrities given the fact that he’s married. Lolit Solis who had been convicted of a scam, different libel suits, harbetera, mukhang pera. Di ko lang alam kung kelan ang karma darating sa kanya, yung iba kasi maagang binibigyan ng Diyos, si Lolit mejo wala pa ata. To Katrina Halili, if she should only had just keep her big mouth shut then this mess could not have happened unless gusto nyang kumita ng pera. Seeing the video myself, i cannot even recognize her since it was so dark in that room. She can deny it and let the issue die in the long run. Take the example of other women involved, they just keep quiet about it and see where are they now? Di sila hinahabol ng media kasi di rin sila nagsasalita. Im sure they are sleeping soundly at night. For me, im only seeing two main reasons why Katrina went to publicize this issue. First, she wants to get money out of this incident. Second, galit sya kasi Hayden choses Vicky over her(naman, walang mapapala sayo si hayden, kasi unfaithful ka rin sa boyfriend mo). Ginagamit masyado ni Katrina ang media to gain sympathy, may paiyak iyak pa syang nalalaman in which i can feel na drama lang talaga ang lahat ng yan. In my other post, im always saying this na if ang katulong sa bahay kinuhaan ng sir nya ng sex video, sasama kaya si Bong Revilla sa NBI para tulungan? May Lolit Solis kayang magsasalita? I DOUBT!!!!

dew_drops

put it this way: katrina hides a camera. then made passionate love with kho. then next thing you know, someone made millions by selling copies. question: sino biktima? of course si kho. stupid mga pilipino. kaya hinde na tayo umasenso.

ROM

The person that really to blame is Katrina Halili, She knows that Hayden Kho is into relationship and still had she elected to sleep with him. Also she knows that Hayden Kho is doing a video on her on some ocassion, I think somehow she knows what is going on.

Mandy Guiao

In this modern time, these things are already normal and nothing to ashamed of, the senate people wanter only some advertisement for their coming 2010 election this is the way our politicians are aiming for, saying it is in aid of legistlation but actual it all tsismis like was is happening in the barbershop.

giecustodia

Let’s give Dr. Hayden Kho a chance. He admits that he has committed a mistake and he is sorry for what he has done. Anyway, everybody makes mistakes. As a parent, I’m so sad for what is happening to him because he is still very young and I know that he has a brighter future ahead of him. I pray for him and especially to his parents who are greatly affected by this challenges. To the parents, just keep on praying that everything will be okey.

Can our respected senators focus their attention to more important problems of the Philippines rather than wasting peoples money regarding this garbage scandal of two people who did fornication (which I think they both enjoyed their deeds). In the past there are so many women who are victims of rape and sex videos but no one cares, why suddenly our respected senators became so interested with this issue (is it because election is coming soon?). Katrina was not force to do sex with Dr Kho it just so happened that it was videoed without her knowledged and as what Dr Kho said it was his peronal keeps, if no one had sex with him there will be no video right? and if no one uploaded it in the web there is no scandal, so why not catch the people who spread the video. I think it is not only Dr Kho who is wrong but also the women (specially katrina) who did the fornication. Blame both of them and please to our respected senators do not waste the peoples money for this circus hearing in the senate, give this to the right government agency to handle the case. TO OUR RESPECTED SENATORS: PLEASE DO NOT GIVE A REASON NOT TO VOTE YOU NEXT ELECTION!!!!!.

Julio

Dear Sir,

We’ve had enough of this! Stop wasting your time and effort reporting articles related to Hayden Kho. Is your intelligence that hollow and limited that you can no longer think of something interesting and decent to write?

Pinagtatawanan na kami dito sa Dubai dahil sa maliit ninyong utak.Tigilan nyo na yan. Let the cops handle it. Ang hindi namin maintindihan ay bakit pati senado ay nakiki-involve sa scandal na ito? They even alotted a session for this. Napaka-stupido talaga!

Mag-improve naman kayong mga Pinoy diyan sa Pilipinas.

I would appreciate it if you could pass this to those dickhead politicians at the senate.

From a patriotic Filipino,

Julio

Give Hayden a change? To what? To exploit more women? If the videos were taken with consent of the women involved then good for them. But the way it was taken was just plain treachery. If you listen carefully the video with Katrina you can clearly hear the sound of something like a paper bag used to hide the camera. Same is with the video with Maricar. The video with the brazilian girl was not positioned very well as the girl was already entering and Kho have no time to point it directly on the bed.

Whether the spread of the video was made by Kho himself or not is immaterial. The fact that he took it without permission is already an act of savagery. The alibi that it’s for his personnal use only is bullshit. If he wants to take videos for his own use then let him take video of himself only in whatever position he may want. In that case whatever will happen to the data if ever it will be stolen and uploaded over the net, nobody would be hurt except himself.

Don’t give Hayden any chance. Let that bloody leach and user bitch suffer for his actions.

As for the senate hearing especially with Revilla spearheading - it’s just another media blitz by same dog. His barking on his own kind. Katrina should have approached a more honorable senators if she really wants senate attention. Question is - is there anybody there “honorable”. Yes, to easiest way to get attention is to go to the senate. While the Philippine movie industry is dying, we have a booming senate entertainment house.

Katrina should have learned a lesson not to *f— just anybody around.

tokwa

whoever created this “give hayden a chance blog” should go to hell too….marami sa ating pilipino ang bugok!. …trust me, pag sumikat itong si hayden kho because of this blog site he will become a senator too like trillanes. you see, we deserve the kind of government we have because of our own stupidity.

violy

you too is even going gaga over this issue, making it more saucy!!! darnnn!!!

leave it now, kho is guilty, then strip him with his license and put him to jail, done the case..closed!

josh

i can’t blame hyden alone if he has gone that far.he’s a man and i understand his feelings and shortcomings. the fact is miss katrina halili should be the culprit as well because she should know better than that before going to that kind of trap.its purely lust and no respect.out of delicadeza per se.so stop blaming hyden alone it should be both of them. they are two matured consenting adults and they are responsible for their respective actions.stop pointing others faults….both of you did it and thats it.period!

Celestino

Well maybe he deserve a 2nd chance, but wait a minute, after 40 girls who were sexually abused and maligned by this animal for the world to see……No I don’t think so! Take away his license so that animal like him will think twice before they abuse women! Incarcerate him too!

joe

Is this moderated?

joe

I thought so. Then who is the moderator?

leon

I couldn’t agree more!

It’s indeed very disappointing to know that the government people have enough time to squander unwisely within the walls of the office, trying to “decipher” the mysteries of the video, while the big country outside is suffering because of the weight of the economic downfall. Not to mention, these problems exacerbated by the swine flu. It will surprise me and many if by “working” with this video, they could actually help improve the economy and lead us to progress, and that every minute spent with that video lessens the victims of swine flu.

People actually pay colossal amounts of tax for the government people namely, the senate, the congress, etc. to make laws, statutes, that will benefit all and help develop this country. I just hope they’d realize that soon…

Hopefully this case will get fixed as soon as possible. It’s a wonder though, what happened to the Ted Failon case? :)

eric ladlad

no

BOO!

you’re a hayden supporter too I bet

Guerilla Blogger

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion so if they want to give Hyden a chance then let them do it. I don’t care if they want to give Ferdinand Marcos or Erap a chance.

enzo

Infairness,i believe that we should give Dr. Kho a chance, he may recorded his private doings not in a purpose to show it in a public but to kept it in private, with our generation today of modern gadgets, that practice of recording private acts is not unusual anymore, if we will look at the issue we may say that Dr. Kho is a victim as well, if he can proved that it was not his intention to show it to everyone..if there is one liable it should be the one who posted that video in public without his consent or the one who snatched the video from him..LET US NOT PLAY THAT EACH ONE OF US IS CLEAN..

Dr. Jay

Yes, let give Hayden a chance to go to jail and contemplate his sin. Lets give him a chance for his anus to be explored by jail birds as he violated other women. Lets give him a chance to say sorry for those he violated and suffer in jail for his sins. Lets give him a chance to find remorse and blame himself instead of others.
Yes, there are a lot of issues that needs our attention, but this doesn’t him well turn a blind eye to Hayden’s crime. I think he should rot in jail to set an example and to serve as a deterrence to others. We should respect women and not make them our tool.
Hayden your a disgrace to nation and to our profession. You do not deserve to be called a doctor and should be strip your title. You should rot in jail

Carol C. Tipsarevic, M.D.

We won’t be having this article was it not media’s coverage of the hearing, or better yet, if we don’t have the Senate investigating something that even 10 year old are sane enough to understand. Because of media’s relentless effort to scoop on every juicy tiny detail of the scandal, it is more like a show of morons, who’s a better moron - jinggoy, bong, katrina or hayden. The first three are runaway winners. I have no sympathy for hayden nor katrina but the better venue should have been the court not the senate. My speculation was if Katrina is serious about her charges, she will be in court but she didn’t instead she declare to the whole senate that she was “binaboy” by hayden. In truth, she was taken advantage by the senators who were trying to ride the bandwagon of her publicized sex video at the expense of other people.

Now, give hayden a chance! I would say he needs psychiatric help besides a mental check. But it doesn’t mean he will be absolved of his crime. No. As a clinical psychologist, I can see an extreme form of behavioral and sexual problem in hayden’s which might have been triggered when he started taking pleasure enhancing drugs. But, yeah give him a chance to defend and rehabilitate himself and maybe start a new life. In this case, everybody were victims of circumstances and should all needs sympathy from people.

Carol, Orlando, Florida

jayson

I agree. I think the senate just wanted to see the videos themselves.

Crazy way to spend senate hours.

Jose Patricio

Am I reading or understanding what you guys are telling correctly? Getting the issue to a senate hearing does not make the act/s of Kho less evil. Media (print, TV, internet etc.) in the first place was responsible for making the issue a front page topic. With the election drawing nearer, politicians can’t take their hands off this golden opportunity. What I want to hear or know is what will happen to Kho? Is he criminally liable? Where is the proper forum for this kind of situation or incident? Who was responsible for the video being aired on You Tube and is being sold (pirated copies I suppose) in the streets. In the meantime, we all would just have to cover our ears or close our eyes when a congressman or senator or any public official for that matter gives his/her comments which the ordinary Pinoy wouldn’t care anyway.

Sam Lim

I don’t think Katrina Halili was that innocent and I believed she knows what she’s doing.
I don’t think she was that naived. They should look for the person who profited from this sex video and catch the master mind who released it.

This should be tried in THE COURT OF LAW not in the Senate. These Senators it seems just want to be in the SPOTLIGHT especially when they asked question it show their intelligence was below par and I don’t think they have experience when it comes to law. This need to be done in Court presided by the judge and with the jury plus they are endangering the life of the defendant family asking the defendant to tell who was the drug lord what were they thinking.

Hayden Kho did a wrong thing but he was remorseful for what he did. I don’t think Hayden Kho will have a fair trial for he was already found guilty by the media and public opion. That won’t happen here in the U.S. It’s a mockery of justice. They are both victims here.

Senator Revilla should have not include himself in the panel for he already made a statement before.

How did this Senator Revilla become a senator and the rest in the panel. I was just really shocked with their intelligence.

I hope Filipino people should think hard on the next election and check their qualification and inteligence and don’t just elect someone because they are popular.

Kawawa naman ang Bayan kong gayan ang mga Senator natin. It just break my heart.

Anthony

Criminal charges can not prosper against Hayden Kho. The sex video can not be used as evidence against him because it was illegally obtained.

Dr. Kho’s only worry is that he may lose his license as a medical practitioner.

Time heals. Before the year ends, I’m sure everything will be forgotten.

michael

i don;’t think he deserves a second chance…. hayden is not human, he’s an animal!

he may tell that katrina gave her drugs before things happen, but what about the othyer ladies? do they give hayden drugs too before going to bed??????

joycella

Hayden should really be given a another chance! Everything had been thrown on him. I hope that people would also think that its also part of women’s fault, ginusto nilang gawin yon. To Ms. Katrina, well she is in the right frame of mind and of age, she is a consenting adult when she get involved and she is a third party. Dapat di sya pumatol, she knows that Hayden is involved with Vicky in the first place. Women should also take the blame!

deni

100% Agree!! And this also SAYS A LOT on the priorities of the CHAIRWOMAN heading the hearing.

anony_mous

i think like many others, you’re missing the point of the Senate investigation. It’s not the sex scandal per se, but the effect on the public of “pornographic” private videos, which even young people can access quickly on the Internet, if not from sidewalk DVD vendors. The HK scandal has brought to fore the need for a cyberporn law, which I’ve read in the news has been pending in the lawmakers’ desk. I mean like without penalties and even preventive measures, just about anyone can brazenly upload/download supposedly private intimate videos that could decidedly destroy lives, especially if the features person(s) didn’t know they were being filmed and/or didn’t give their consent to the uploading/reproduction/distribution of those videos.

Mindanaoan

LOL…astig din nakaisip ng blog na yan ha

Leo

What chance? To direct another sex video?

The fact is that there is no law that directly addresses the the making and distribution of sex videos, especially in those cases where one of the parties did not consent to the taking of the video in the very first place. As such, the senate investigation in this case may be one of those few cases where investigation-in-aid-of legislation is truly justified.

Yes, Congress should also look at better ways to make institutionalized responses for epidemics. But that is a different issue.

OFW's

That’s true. Give a Chance. Nobody is perfect except Bong Revilla that he did not commit sin.

Congrat’s Bong Revilla, dahil ginagamit molang itong issue para magkaroon ka lang ng trabaho sa senado.

etski

When the hayden-halili scandal was blown-out of proportion, i didn’t know if i would feel happy because actions have been done against women abuse; irritated because the politicians and even other celebrities are taking the ride to another higher level of popularity; sad because most of us are missing the original sin in this issue. Dr. Belo’s moral of the story is “wag mang-agaw ng boyfriend”. Bong Revilla is singing more on the tune of “if you want to do a sex scandal, don’t publish it or don’t even try doing it without the consent of your partner; you are a pervert if you do so”. But i never heard anybody crying because our “dalagang filipinas” are now taking the shoes of liberated western ladies. Premarital sex is now accepted in our society. Maybe im just trapped in 1970s. Maybe i should go out more, huh.

leticia mendoza

On Hayden: Hayden’s cirmes are really private, he did not seek permission from the women he had sex with to tape them on video. Otherwise, their affairs are very private matters which was really none of anybody’s business but theirs. Sex acts are nothing but wholesomely aesthetic to watch, thus, done in the privacy of the room with doors locked, curtains drawn, and lights off. Because couples, both married and unmarried, engage in lustful, kinky, pleasurable sex that should make them look like baboys as Katrina and Bong revilla pointed out. And it’s perfectly normal for the couple to enjoy each other, to be all over each other, right? If hayden chooses to videotape them for his own private weird fetish, that’s his business, and he was able to keep them from the public eye for 2 years which in fairness to him, means he never intended them for the public eye to see. He, as well as the women he betrayed by not asking permission, is a victim of betrayal by friends, who committed the crime of uploading something private into the internet for the world to see.

PMA and PRC should also summon Bistek for an investigation and his license should be revoked as well, because he along with Chua, committed a graver crime in uploading these videos irresponsibly for hte whole world to see.Theirs was the much bigger crime because it had malice and the intent to destroy Hayden.

Sen Bong Revilla, please shut up! A womanizer should never accuse another womanizer of being a pervert of hte highest order, nanira ng dangal, trust. all of who you are too! Sinira mo rin ang dangal ng asawa mo, trust nya. Pervert ka din kaya ga marami kang babae, at laging umiiyak asawa mo sa pambababae mo, me naka ka pa nga sa labas di ba? You only differ with Hayden in that your sexual acts with other women were not videotaped. But they contain the same elements of womanizing. and womanizing always always involves lies, betrayal, lust, sex, infidelity. What’s new? In any profession, you find them all. you can’t moralize, because you have no moral authority to do so. It’s just making you one hypocrite of the highest order.

I agree with Vicky Belo. Women should be careful. and women should not enter into a relationship with men who are spoken for no matter what pambobola they say to twist you round their fingers. Triangular relationships are burdensome, wrong, mali, masakit, pangit, mali at mali pa rin, whatever angle you look at them.

Lolit Solis: what remorse is still lacking in hayden? He appeared at the senate, appeared at Pedea, appeared at PMA, voluntarily having his license revoked? promising to do civic works, medical missions? Isn’t that humility? facing up to the consequences of his wrong actions? owning up to them? isa ka ring hypocrite.

Jamby Madrigal: You were right when you said hayden’s crimes were private, the bigger crimes were the uploading of those videos.

Malabanan

I know all of us has a distinct opinion. however we should be responsible and be discreet for all the words that comes from our mouth because they will play a very essential part specially if your a blogger..
and please do not be susceptible about the issue. the issue hir are hayden and halili im just wondering why you people like to involved such name particulary “Sen. Bong Revilla”????????????????

antonio

yung hayden and halili case, this is
not an easy case to JUDGE
halili says … binaboy siya, which is true
hayden says, remorse na siya
doctora bello says wala siyang kasalanan
chua says wala rin siyang kasalanan
sino ang may kasalanan then

mahirap na case ito kasi, each one
will point finger at the other person
siyempre excited and titillated lahat
ng tao who like to watch the video
kasama yan sa entertainment

gobiyerno should intervene and
instead of pointing fingers,
alamin ang cause ng immorality

bakit sobra ng immorality nagawa
and find solutions instead of
making trials by sensational news

lagyan ng control ang video
proliferation
lagyan ng control ang immorality

filipinas kawawa naman kung
lagi na lan may issue about sex
sex is something very private
and hindi masama ito
kaso, nagkakaroon ng maruming
meaning ito

gawan ng crusade ang society
ng pinas and try to clean
the immorality

Beto

hayden kho should be given the chance, matagal na mga videos na yan, kung ginusto niya talaga ipa-upload, why now lang? Saka put yourself in his place, hindi ka ba maririndi sa dami nang nakiki-ride on sa isyu? Saka walang mavivideohan kung walang nagkikipag casual sex sa kanya. Bakit sila sumasama sa condo ni Hayden? Para kulutan siya? it takes 2 to tango

missgiftsphilippines

i think what he did is out of the scene. well, for a fact, im pretty sure that she knew it is happening. im just saying, hayden may be guilty, but katrina should also take her actions into a positive way. they made up. everybody knows that in this time, pre marital sex is accepted. why cant she just take what everybody is saying. the more she talks, the more issues are evolving. why cant she be like maricar reyes. quiet and take all of the blame because what she said, it really happened and she had fun. a more right thing to do. just my opinion.
