American Idol Watch: Adam Lambert

YES... The guy can sing anything ..hes got showmanship, looks voice. stage pr
esence...
Now can America can come OUT of the stone ages and leave him alone and vote fo
r his talent

Well, I think Paula was defiantly right. Adam will & should run all the way
to the top and WIN eventually!! She also said that never in the history of Ame
rican Idol, she's never seen someone so comfortable and seasoned. Well, she was
right with that too, only I would add - never seen or heard in the history of
American Idol someone who sings as amazing as Adam Lambert!!

Adam Lambert is no David Cook. His performances are too over the top. That isn'
t always a good thing. He seems to be the one the judges are going to give a fr
ee pass to for such antics this year. He overperformed alot more than Alexis an
d yet she got called out for it. Having said all that he has a very good voice
and if he would pull it in and just sing the song I could actually see myself e
njoying his performances and buying his music.

I think Adam Lambert is a David Cook wannabe and it 's quite annoying! How lon
g will it be before he "forgets to shave"? The kid may be able to sing but he'
s too theatrical for my taste. He needs to find his OWN identity and stop play
ing the part of DC.

IF IT WAS NOT FOR ADAM THIS SEASON OF AMERICAN IDOL WOULD HAVE TANKED. HE IS H
EAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST.

HE MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE DANCING & CHEERING WHEN HE PERFORMS. BETTER SINGER
WITH THE FALSETTO THAN DAVID COOK.

He's too way over top for my taste. I would rather see Danny Gokey win. Bette
r voice and personality.

I couldn't agree more - his scorching talent and amazing good looks will shoot
him right to the top. Like Paula, I beleive we're looking at the next American
Idol!

I'm pretty sure of that! He got the looks, personality, charms and 101%- TALENT

I wouldn't even compare Adam Lambert to David Cook. Adam is in a totally diffe
rent class. For starters, he can really sing and if he wanted to he could sing
anything as his 1st audition proved when he sang "Bohemian Rhapsody".

aDAM IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER ELVIS, THE GIRLS ARE ALREADY SCREAMING FOR HIM IN T
HE AUDIENCE. HE IS ONE TALENTED YOUNG GUY WHO IS GOING TO BE A SUPER STAR, NO
QUESTION. HE HAS THE NATURAL STAGE PRESENCE THAT ELVIS HAD, AND TALENT TO GO A
LONG WITH IT, NOT COUNTING HIS GREAT LOOKS.

YES! This young man is gifted beyond belief. His unique style is what made that
audience [and I bet America] go wild IN the 1st round of this competition.

Prediction! A star is born!

recognizable voice and great style! I'm hooked to American Idol just cause he

competing against cause hes in a different league to everyone else although i

I like Adam, he's actually my top favourite, I like his self confidence and mod
esty, he seems intellectual and articulate. He's got loads of talent and I agre
e on the whole package thing. Can't wait on what will he showcase next. Very en
tertaining, hope he keeps it this way.

I agree that Adam is a great singer and a wonderful entertainer. He is one of
the only contestants this yeasr that actually keeps my attention for the whole
performance. I don't know if American will let him win, but he is certainly th
e best singer/performer of the group and should win.

Adam is a superstar in the making right before our eyes. He has the magical st
age presence of the greatest entertainers of all time, including Elvis, Mick Ja
gger, and Michael Jackson. I can't take my eyes off of him when he is performi
ng. He can do it all just as these masters did. I hope he sings some soulful
songs on American Idol like you can hear him sing on youtube. Check out "Come H
ome". The competition will be over when America hears him sing a ballad.

Adam is the closest thing to an
Elvis. His eyes, lips, and smile are a killer.
On top of that he can sing!!! He has the best style on the show. He sounded
great on the country show even though it was an unusual rendition of "Ring of F
ire". I don't like the black fingernails and he's started wearing earrings but
I guess that won't affect the younger voters.
Hope there is an Elvis week because Adam is even better looking than Elvis and
his voice is identifiable. He could
some day be a bigger star than Elvis.

adam is amazing! and as for "ring of fire", it was completely and utterly seduc
tive. it gave me goose bumps! i think he would make a great american idol!

Elvis has NOT left the building. He and his full star potential were there las
t night on the LA stage of American Idol. Adam Lambert has the star presence,
uniqueness, and unconventionality of the young Elvis himself. That's right fol
ks. No one "understood" Elvis' 'crazy' gyrations on stage when he first starte
d out....just like 3 of 4 judges had Adam's performance go way way over their h
eads last night.

Lambert was in a dope-dog sick league of his own again last night with "Ring of
Fire". And it seems only Randy was able to see it.

It was ironic, too, that the previous contestant had just been criticized for n
ot being herself in the performance. Next up was Adam, who was 110% true to hi
mself as a performer, and he was misunderstood and criticized for that. So wha
t do the judges really want? If Lambert had donned a red-checkered shirt and co
wboy boots and kicked his heels around the stage last night, would he not have
looked like a fake and an idiot? Well, he's not either one of those. Hence, w
e were gifted with the best damn rendition of Ring of Fire I have ever heard.

I've already bought the video, as I will buy anything Lambert puts out. Simon,
Paula and Kara - c'mon, wake up and smell the eyeliner.

Adam Lamber's rendidtion of Ring of Fire was an abstract masterpiece and I was
concerned it might have gone over the heads of many listeners but fortunately t
hat was not so. Lambert can indeed be as big as Elvis and I believe the trick f
or him will be not to be unravelled by the fame and fortune. It is completely a
ccurate, once he's performing he is mesmerizing and that's what a great star i
s all about. Paul Anka stated that "good is the enemy of great". Lambert is not
good.

I cannot get his songs out of my head. What a performer and a singer! The eyes,
the lips, the voice just sears the soul. I hope this young man wins and I am a
53 year old mom.

I am a high school teacher working only with seniors. They are unanimous that A
dam is exactly what they enjoy listening to with today's music.

I think Adam should sing one of Freddie Mercury songs.

i totally agree with sharon, we are watching the birth of a superstar right bef
ore our eyes. he is the closest elvis look a like i have ever seen and has a re
al star quality about him. it does'nt matter if he wins idol he is a star now.
I can't wait to he what else he can do. ring of fire was unbelievible simion is

yes! i firmly believe and i definitely agree with these guys.... adam lambert i
s the definitely the best singer in town. not only does he have tremendously go
od looks, he has that talent and the aura that can make everyone mesmerized by
him. i can't really help but shiver everytime he performs. and gee... don't for
get that smile. he's hot and he's sooooo cute!!!!!

Adam Lambert is going to be hard to beet at this point. He has in my opinion, c
ome up with the most original versions, best song choices every week so far. It
will be interesting to see the Disco songs on Tuesday.

Adam Lambert has great voice and his showmanship is superb. for me, he is alrea
dy a winner because of his superb performance.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.. Can't wait for the next seasons auditions to
