I Just want to inquirer to pls ask information when is the result for last august LET exam…..

This is horrendous, this means that terrorism and extremist are everywhere despite of tight securities and that they are trying to convey a message to our government and to our people that they are unstoppable. rest assured these chaos will end and peace will reign in our midst.

I am skeptic at the reports the this was probably done by extremists. Only local extremists has any interest here in the Philippines and I probably doubt that they have this capacity or firepower. If it were provided by their foreign supporter, it would be a waste of resource as they (foreign supporter) could probably do more damage in Iraq and hit their intended targets.

I recall some years back (correct me if I’m wrong) of a bombing somewhere in mindanao and that one polititian (former military/police) indicated that it was a diversion done by the gov’t to distract the people (I don’t remember the incident) but am sure it has something to do with a scandal/expose with the government too.

If this is similar to that (God!) I pity those people whose lives were lost and changed. They are merely collateral damage and expendable people. What do they hope to achieve by hurting innocent people? Is it because these people are just pawns in their game of politics?

When I was living in Mindanao, it was common knowledge that the “back door” to the Philippines was literally open 24-7 to any terrorist who wanted to enter from other SE Asian countries and many terrorists did. At one point there were actually Muslim fundamentalist terrorist camps in southern Mindanao. The government refused to recognize it then and, evidently, nothing has changed since I left the Philippines. Thus, your bomb explosion at Glorietta mall and the resulting dead and injured. Until terrorism is taken seriously by the Philippine government things like this will continue to happen. I am very sorry for the dead and wounded, but I also understand how and why it happened and what could have prevented it from happening.

The GMA administration is panicking because of the looming war between the pro-GMA and the pro-JDV factions of the Lower House.

The sham impeachment complaint filed by GMA’s lackeys is now fast becoming the fuse that could eventually lead to her ouster.

The call for a change in the form of government to federalism is not gathering momentum.

I hope this bombing is not an act of desperation by those who would cling to power no matter what the cost in terms of human lives.

I hope history does not repeat itself more than 35 years since Martial Law was first declared in this country.

I won’t dare dwell on what could happen if it does.

I doubt if terrorists would do that - Gloria is their number one ally. They really do not have to do anything to bring down her government.

I would not want them to be assassinated. I want them to be in prison to experience what others went through.
I’d suggest to have them all to clean the entire EDSA with a toothbrush and have everyone that pass by spit on them - I mean everyone of them:

I was one of the many people in the mall at the time of the explosion…From the moment I heard the “boom” and saw the smoke coming out from all over to the time i was able to go out of the mall–it was blurr..a scary blurr..my thoughts on safety made a 180 degrees turn. Upto now I’m still scared and paranoid, especially after hearing the number of fatalities and wounded…

The only reasonable thing to do is pray that whoever is responsible for this terrible event be apprehended as soon as possible. Also for our government to increase whatever security we have right now.

This clearly means that the people of this country is no longer safe.

Stop politicking and instead, support the government in it’s sincere undertaking.

this is unbelievable! one of my friends who’s working in the n-lex told me that one of her officemates received a call at 1:00 pm from unknown caller saying “pinasabog ang Glorietta ngayon.” then the caller cut the line. she said they were puzzled saying how come this caller knew that Glorietta will explode. then they witched on the Television but no such news was confirmed not before long, at around 1:30 when the news pop up to the surprise of every citizen of this country.

1:00 they received a call… “pinasabog ang Glorietta” but the explosion shook Makita at around 1:30… There is something going on! if the Government of this shirking nation has something to do with this tragedy I my self put a shameful spit in our Government! shame on you! if this explosion has something to do to divert the bribery scandal of our shameful government then i pray that those people will reap what they sew! i pray to the highest that those inhuman creature should go to hell and burn for eternity!

Is it better to kill one innocent person than two? How about one life for a hundred? A thousand? About stealing - is it better to steal 100 php from a beggar than 100,000 php from a rich man?

My point is: there is no lesser evil. If GMA’s administration is corrupt, no amount of economic growth will justify it. The same goes for other politicians. Until a good leader steps in, oust them all. I believe there are still potentially good Filipino leaders. I count Panlilio as one of them. We need someone more sophisticated for presidency though.

Palpak ang intelligence network at security setup dito sa Pilipinas. Paano ba naman kasi yung Nat’l Security Adviser parang unggoy lang, pakain-kain lang ng saging sa senado kahit kailangan niyang sagutin ang mga tanong kahit dapat nating malaman. Ano nga lang ba ang magagawa natin. Wala naman kakayahan ang gobyerno na salansangin ang mas makapangyarihan pa sa kanya. Wala tayong maayos na batas, wala tayong maaayos na mambabatas. Sabi nila aksidente raw talaga. Me eksperto ba talaga tayo na kayang malaman kung ito nga ang katotohanan? Kahit na pagimbistigahan natin ang mga dayuhan sasabihin kaya nila ang katotohanan? Sa totoo lang kung yung bomba nga ay nilagay don sa tubo ng mga gas malamang hindi nga masasabing ito ay sadya or bomba talaga. Wala tayong teknolohiya para i-saliksik o analisahin o paghiwa-hiwalayin man lang yung mga kemikal na yon para malaman kung ito nga ay galing sa bomba. Ang alam ko lang kung sino man ang me kagagawan nito ay pangisi-ngisi lang na parang aso. Pero siguro me pagasa kung me maglalakas loob lang na i-simulate sa computer ang ganon pagsabog malamang mabigyan linaw talaga kung possible nga lang aksidente yon o ginamitan ng bomba. Sa ngayon ang meron lang mga teknolohiya na yan sa computer ay mga gumagawa ng special effects sa pelikula (ang ibang software sa special effects ay kayang mag simulate mula sa makakatotohanang pagsabog basta mailagay lang ang tamang mga datos). Sa ngayon nasa kanila na kung gusto nila patunayan na possibleng aksidente lang ang nangyari.

Walang silbing pagtaluhan natin ang magagawa ng gobyerno sa kadahilanang ang mismong mga mambabatas na syang dapat gumawa ng basta para sa ikakalakas ng ating gobyerno ay namumulitika pa.

Saka dun sa mga nagsasabing c4 ang ginamit hindi po tayo nagpro-produce ng c4. Yon na lang ang masasabi ko.

On the more lighter side, interesting choice for presidency. I would rather you offer it to Bert and OFW. They have so far reflected a deep sense of nationalism, love for people and country that is now practically absent in the present administration. I would rather be in the sidelines and simply help them crack heads of the corrupt and abusive especially those in wallowing in ill gotten wealth and power, both past and present.

Heheheh, Di ko na kailangan baguhin ang katayuan mo. Ang katayuan ng isang tumatakip ng mga isyu sa pamamagitan ng paglilihis nito, ay di na kailangan baguhin. Magbabago lamang kadalasan ang “apologists” o ang mga taong lumilihis sa mga isyu kung sila mismo ay tamaan ng personal sa mga katiwalian na kasalukuyang nagyayari.
