In history’s all-star corruption race, who was worse?
Pulse Asia has an answer; or, rather, the survey firm has plumbed public opinion, and located the public’s answer. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is the “most corrupt president in history,” statistically edging out the late dictator, Ferdinand Marcos.

As given by your statement and assumptions, why do you not look at yourself?
DID YOU try bribing a policeman when you did traffic violations?
DO YOU bribe people to make documentation processing faster?
DO YOU DO something illegal just in case it would not get noticed gets through anyway?
To add Tiburcio:
Do you look the other way when you see corruption in front of you since you benefit from it yourself? Or do you simply ignore the corruption of others since you are corrupt yourself?
Do you find reasons for corruption to exist so that you can do this yourself?
Do you join apologists to blame other ordinary people of dishonesty so other people or perhaps yourself can be dishonest and reason out that “everybody does it anyway” to salve their conscience?
Tiburcio, it’s okay to blow the whistle on those engaged in corruption so that in the end you may possibly help reduce it.
It’s far better than your argument that one should not point at other corrupt people since you ASSUME others are also corrupt anyway. That is the kind of reasoning that allows evil to proliferate.

And if I might add, the reason why movements to oust GMA has failed, is because people would rather work and be productive! Bottomline is, before making any insinuations about the President not doing her job of running this country, ask yourselves first if you, yourselves are doing your part to help!

There must be something wrong with the people who participated in this survey..in the case of marcos,the govt was able to recover hundred of millions of dollars from a swiss bank attributed to his foundations, $35 M from a merril lynch account, several millions from an account in a singapore bank plus billions of pesos from sequestered properties…estrada was convicted of plunder because of the undeniable material evidence presented during the trial…has there been any evidence showing that Gloria has acquired enormous personal wealth???as far as I knew, there’s a lot of allegations but they remain as such…perception is very far from reality

You don’t get it, Do you? The reason people perceptiong Gloria Arroyo, Is the most corrupt because everything throw at her she’s covering it up! If she don’t have anything to hide what suppress the truth. Truth of the matter is she’s guilty. PERIOD.
