stions we ask the candidates.

Will you push for constitutional reforms in your first thre e years in office? If so, what mode? My intention is to provoke a national and in-depth debate on WHAT has to be ref ormed, and its IMPACT on the country and the people. The mode is a non-issue fo r as long as it is insulated from partisan politics, upholds the spirit of demo cracy, and is implemented in such a way that would allow for the people to come to informed and intelligent decisions on it.
Will you push for a review of the Visiting Forces Agreemen t (VFA) with the United States? Review, yes. But like the Anti-Terrorism Act, it is just the icing -- what we n eed to hammer out is the cake. We need long-term legislation and policies that would identify basic security issues the country faces today, and formulate the appropriate solutions. This is why I have been pushing for the passage of the National Security Code/National Peace Policy in my stint as senator, and I will continue to fight for this piece of legislation because in todayâs world, it i s easy to get lost in the mire of security issues if we do not have a strong fo undation and vision of what we want for our country.
Seems that Mr.Honasan has no specific ideas of how he can contribute as a Senao
tr. His comments does not show any substance of analsys. Mr. Honsan tainted pas
t including the most capture of him shows the level of his morality. He has ev
aded the resposnbility during his many failed coups and now singing another son
g of forgiveness.Our country has given many people many changes especially thos
e public figures but those chances were all waste. GMA should firm to show just
ice by no letting go those offenders . Mr. Hosan should be held repsonsilble fo
r his act. Justice has to be serve.

I have never voted.
I will never vote for as long as the politicos in our country are of the mettle
they are.
And all the more I will not vote for people who think nothing of taking up arms
against a government whose constitution they were sworn to defend and uphold.
I have no love lost for Gringo Honaan. He has created so much political instab
ilityin this country. However, I do salute him for participating in the politic
al process. This is the way to do it. If elected to the senate, well & goo
d. The people put him there. Huwag lang siyang manggugulo hulit!
To elect Honasan and Trillanles to the senate, Philippine can proof to the worl
d that most Filipino don't care for their future. How many people were suffered
and killed during the past rebellion act by his group. If happen in China, Han
asan and other people support him will be firing squad on the spot without ques
tion.
