Alan Cayetano on reviewing the VFA

Why i would waste my time on this guy? He's there for the show and nothing else
. As a Filipino living overseas, I think this kind of people are a waste of ta
xpayers money especially that OFW's are making the economy afloat through dolla
r remittances. If they're elected the same thing happens... they will sit thei
r ass in there and take money left and right.

Allan Peter Cayetano has a BIG mouth! He only talks talks and expects media mi
leage. What has he done when he was a congressman? He likes to hit anyone ju
st for the sake of media coverage. He has been doing that before this election
s because he dreamt to become a senator. What a waste of my vote and time. He
is arrogant and I always change channel every time I saw his face on TV.

I too am disappointed with this guy. He devoted his youth to useless mudslingin
g, grandstanding and old politics. Nowhere close to the progressive, developmen
tal and positive people we hope to lead this nation to prosperity.

Alan Peter Cayetano's a constant blabbermouth. He's only good at throwing accus
ations without evidence...maybe thinking that Filipinos -- pro or anti- GMA --
are that stupid to believe him. He talks without substance, very arrogant ....
an empty can, indeed. And, look at congressional records....he's a total non-pe
rformer. So, why should i vote this guy?

This guy is full of crap......i'll pick Victor Wood anytime over this incompete

to compare.. you routed your district with your promises... but this time... no
t the whole philippines..

your district is different from the national scene, so therefore dont cry again
and tell to someone that you have hidden account of making ballots in foreign
land..

remember that surveys fooled us... conditioning the minds of the electorate.. l
uzon is different from visyas and visayas is different from mindanao..

o kung yang nasasagap nyong tsismis dyan nyo lang sa kanto napakinggan. if isa
lang ang pagpipilihan sa pagiging senador, i'll rather pick alan cayetano above
all the senatoriables na tumatakbo ngayon.

Back in UP, Alan Peter Cayetano represented the kind of student leadership we w
erer taught NOT to emulate. He is a legend in that regard- leaving behind fello
w anti-US bases activists to rot in jail while he drops a powerful name to obta
in his release from the police. That's disgusting. That was 20 or so years ago.
I thought he has changed somewhat- He hasn't changed. He shows the same skill a
t stepping over people, even to the extent of fabricating his accusations just
to fuel his ambition. He is, in a word, A weasel, and AMPAW- the kind of public
servant we ought to write off our books and move away from. He is a bad influe
nce to many of our youth- teaching them that you can create innuendo and ride t
he coattails of false accusations just to gain media mileage and reap public at
tention. And he has the gall and arrogance to claim the moral high ground on th
at. I voted for those with a stronger legislative record that can really move l
egislation.

hahahahaha! hanggang dito pinairal pa rin ang makinarya! gigil na gigil talaga
kayo ha. eh paano ba yan, mas marami talaga ayaw sa bossing nyo?

Arroyo administration? Why is his candidacy receiving intense attention from t
he Palace and its allies? It must be because he has angered the Presidentâs hus
band, after he accused Jose Miguel Arroyo of maintaining a secret, multimillion
-dollar bank account in Germany. Arroyo has even tried to have Cayetano expelle
d from the House, on ethics charges. To be sure, Cayetano has failed to substan
tiate his accusation, until, that is, election day. On May 14, the full power o
f his enemies was unleashed on himâindirect but compelling proof, in our view,
that Cayetano, the real Cayetano, had hit close to home.

That is why Alan Peter Cayetano is the target of election fraud on a scale unse
en since Ninoy Aquino and his Laban running mates were shut out in the 1978 ele
ctions. Whether he wins or loses in the official count, in reality he was elect
ed, resoundingly, a senator of the republicâ¦

The difference between Ninoy and Allan is very far. Ninoy attacked the governme
nt in peaceful means. Allan did nothing but create allegations that he cannot p
rove. Now he is whining about being oppressed, and it worked, people voted for
him as a sentiment. Dak dak lang nang dak dak, wla namang kahit ni isang batas
na naipasa.

The truth is Alan Cayetano has not achieved anything during his 9-year tenure a
s congressman. Probably, he has sponsored bills for his district like change of
name of a streeet or construction of a waiting shed. But bills for national ap
plication, his performance is zero, nil, nada. If this is so, what can he do in
the senate when the job there is more complex. If Meriam has not done well whe
n she has all the golden qualifications, what with Alan Cayetano who specilicia
tion is only grandstanding, character assassination, fabricating stories and en
gaging in libelous statements. On the other hand, if not for Mike Arroyo, Alan
would not be senator now. Mike Arroyo got sick with his lies in aired in congre
ss and in media. He made the former as his object of vicious attack so that he
will become popular and attain the image of a senatoriable. This is not the rig
ht way how to make oneself known and worthy to be elected as a senator. I am de
eply sorry for the country with the new breed of senators we have today who sti
ll cannot bring hope for the poor. Look at her sister Pia. She had been crying
during her campaign in order to get the sympathy of the voters. Until today, sh
e has not done anything for the country. And now, another Cayetano is added to
the senate. What a tragedy!
