I WAS reading the letters to the editor, when the article "Forget impeachment bid" by Ms Emma Requilme (Inquir
er, 06/01/07) caught my attention.
At last! Someone has decided to forget impeachment. I'm so tired of hearing peo
ple talking about the impeachment of the president. They only look at the negat
ive sides of the administration. But I think, they didn't take the time to glan
ce at the positive side.
I agree with the point of Ms. Requilme that we should forget about impeachment
and pay attention to our hungry fellow citizens. Having an impeachment trial wo
uld be such a waste of time. There are people waiting to be fed. So, the questi
on would be: Which is important? The impeachment or our hungry fellow citizens?
I always hear activists cry out loud "Oust Gloria!" But if you asked them the q
uestion above, surely they will choose the good of our fellow citizens. Then, i
f that's what they want, the good of our people, we must wait for our president
's move. So let us forget impeachment and think of the future of our people and
our country.

Forget impeachment? You must be really out of your mind. Not atleast you
don't know it. Ever since Gloria Arroyo, Squatting in Malacanyang Palace there
is more in more filipino people are starving.
Her so call booming economy is fake just like her. Where on earth did she get
her figure? In kangkonga.
How can she claim this so call booming economy when the taxes collection are fa
ll short. The reason of her so call booming economy because of the money remmit
tance of OFW sending back home. And this is temporary situation.
What positive side are you talking about, Her so call booming economy? Now, You
're really gone LOCO! This so call booming economy Gloria Arroyo, Talking about
is make believe by Gloria Arroyo, She'll say anything in order to make her loo
k good. Lets face it. Gloria Arroyo, Is the biggest LEMON either you admitted o
r not. I'LL SAY, DITCH HER TIME. SHE DON'T DESERVE TO SIT IN MALACANYANG PALACE
A MINUTE LONGER.
Forget Impeachment? Forget exposing rampant corruptions in the Arroyo Administr
ation?
You must be spitting against the wind, even with your knowledge that your sputu
m is grossly saturated with foul-smelling phlegm. And it gets stuck on your fac
e, and you would still deny the filthiness of it and ask yourself, "Why won't
I just enjoy the taste and its substance, at least, I am still breathing even f
rom the smear of it?"
One must be suffering from disillusionment and disenchantment to say, "Forget i
mpeachment, or forget about exposing the evils of the Arroyo Administration."
Let us scrutinize the Pandora's box this time. But, come to think of it that th
e last item that popped out of the box was the message of hope, which, in our p
olitical case, will surface only after all the misfortunes and ill-makings of
La Gloria are exposed. That's the bright side of it.
One must ponder with prayer over the issues that we must delve into action so t
hat we will not be dreaming of what will never come to pass.
To forget about impeachment of La Gloria, or to stop exposing the evils of her
administration, will only drag the poor to the pit of further depravity.
One must be a numskulled to take the side of La Gloria, or at least, inclined t
o emulate the behaviour of what he subscribes.
Let us keep our torch burning!
The impeachment process against discredited and corrupt Philippine leader Glori
a Arroyo is possible even if the opposition congressmen have no numbers. The ne
wly elected and principled representatives under Lakas, Kampi, Liberal Party, N
PC and pro GMA party-list should look first the *MERITS* of the possible impeac
hment complaint against bogus President Gloria Arroyo before outright junking
it. They should represent the true interest of the Filipino people and the Sta
te, NOT the dictates and influence of old guard politicos and Malacanang. They
owed their mandate to the people. Political party affiliation means nothing in
Philippine politics.
The May 14, 2007 electionsâ result is the referendum against Arroyoâs illegitim
ate presidency. GMAâs Team Unity senatorial bets got clobbered despite of dread
ful
political machinery and limitless funding. The message is crystal clear; the pe
ople repudiated her voodoo economic policy and inept corrupt government. Glori
a Arroyo is the problem. The Philippine economy will grow and OFW remittances k
eep pouring without lame duct and great pretender Reyna Gloria. I believe that
more foreign investors will be coming and massive industrialization will follow
after her ouster. They have no trust and confidence under her twice stolen pre
sidency. The longer she clings in power there will be no political stability an
d speedy economic recovery. In fact, massive industrialization will sustain th
e rapid increase of unemployment due to over population.
Yes, i do believe that politician should focus on the economy of the country n
ot thier personal interest or impeachment of the president. Politician must ser
ved the people wellfare especially the poor.
I totally agree with you. GMA is the best person to lead our country at this ti
me. The opposition want to remove her, but they don't have anyone good enough t
o replace her. GO will just bring our economy down.
Impeachment or our hungry fellow citizens? It depends if Gloria continuous on h
er attempts to destroy Philippine democracy, twisting our laws and continuous o
n protecting her corrupt allies. If she does, then we know the answer to that q
uestion. Her past actions would not be lost on the Filipinos.
And by the way, impeachment and prosecuting the corrupt is not mutually exclusi
ve from progress and a good future for our country.
It does not follow that impeachment means hunger for our fellow citizens. Does
it mean that if one sees something wrong that we look the other way because we
want to concentrate on our feeding our "hungry fellow citizens"?
The proper thing to do would be to right the wrong AND feed our hungry fellow c
itizens. This can be done parallel to each other and are not mutually exclusive
in attaining a goal of a progressive Filipino society.
what we need is good government, fair to all, not too much politics. If we need
to fed the people, do it; impeachment necessary? If so, do it as well, streaml
ine pork barrels to be more responsive to the needs of the people or completely
abolish it, I mean the pork barrel.
??? so next time pag may nang-holdup at nakapatay ng biktima, pag sinabi ng hol
nt vs. "feed the hungry people". para na ring sinabi mo: pakukulong mo ba yung
ga abugado: "that is an irrelevant question, your honor!" "we should have that
irrelevant question stricken off the record!"
Every individuals has its own basic need(food, clothing, shelter). And if you c
ant give this basic need your enviroment is a mess, so food for the hungry citi
zen is the first priority.
Impeachment is not a priority. This is a basic technique of giving greedy poli
tician to sit in a position without consulting the silent majority.
The problem with Filipinos is APATHY, we only care for ourselves, we dont take
risks, this country is stagnant because its people are too lazy to move and mak
e action. Wait and see mentality.
I'm hungry! Impeach her!!! (How's that for logic?)
You know, Jay-R, you are inviting diatribes from Salina and you are inciting he
r/him furthermore to froth for acidulous remarks. Hala ka!!!
Again the myth that no one can replace Arroyo ... grow up, Gloria is not indisp
ensable.
If anyone in the Philippines especially in elected position does wrong, he or s
he at the very least must not be on the position for it is a position of trust.
The wrongdoer must also serve whatever criminal actions that may have been inc
urred.
Which reminds me, this also SPECIALLY applies to COMELEC vote manipulators.
Rooting out the corruption is as important priority along with addressing hunge
r.
Kaya nga maraming nagugutom dahil nga maraming kurakot eh!
This includes addressing corruption in ALL levels of government. From the baran
gay councilman to the position of President itself!
Impeach her? Then what? Are we going to eat well if she's impeached? Impeachmen
t is such a divisive issue that going through this (again!) will tear this coun
try apart, scare investors, and leave more people hungry. We are already doing
well, macroeconomically speaking, and although statistics can't be eaten as GO
says, good macroeconomic statistics is better than a bad one in terms of ultima
tely solving hunger. And by the way, these statistics are gathered by professio
nals and I believe them more than any other entity or person(s) in this country
As for GMA, she is the hardest-working president I've ever observed; she certai
nly works harder than Erap. She's won many elections on her way to the top so n
o one cay say that she lacked skills to get votes. Officially, she won the 2004
elections; this is also what respectable polls reported. Those complaining tha
t she cheated are welcome to file charges, no one is preventing them from doing
so. Right now, there's not a single charge filed in court against GMA, Garci a
nd others would have been piloried in the media for alleged cheating.
To those who would like to oust GMA, you are welcome to do so as long as you st
ick to legal means. You may succeed where our most seasoned opposition politici
ans have so far failed. But meantime, pwede bang mag-trabaho muna tayo?
a'y namimili ng trabaho.
GO to bring the country down???? Those administration factotums should realize
that the people has spoken! Its 8-2-2! The GO-destroy-economy- propaganda was r
ejected by the people.
To impeach her or not, that depends upon the situation. If GO has the numbers,
then why not?
Impeachment is possible to any sitting President if the evidence is overwhelmin
g even if the house is controlled by the Administration. Some of these Adminis
tration Congressmen will go with impeachment if they know that the evidence is
valid and will progress.
Look what happened to ERAP. The House was controlled by ERAP but, the impeach
ement went through. The evidence, at that time, was valid and definitely push
ed through. Thus, ERAP was impeached at the Lower House.
Today, there is no solid evidence that will warrant an impeachment for GMA. T
he oppositions (c/o ERAP) are just noisy and definitely they want an impeachmen
t so ERAP can go back to Power.
In due time, the SandiganBayan will make a decision on the Plunder Case of ERA
P. With the overwhelming evidences, ERAP will be convicted.
So without solid evidence for Impeachment, people should just ignore these noi
sy oppositions and just concentrate on how we can help improve further our Econ
omy and solve the Hunger of many Lazy Filipinos.
Hunger is a reality for Lazy Filipinos. There is no such Hunger when each one
of us will work hard and live in an honest, clean, and simple living.
inas.
n...
Gloria won the elections in 2004. All the surveys before the elections and even
the exit polls pointed to a win for Gloria. She's the legitimate president. Sh
e's turning into a good president. The economy has recovered and we're on our w
ay to up. To hell with the leftists leaders and obstructionist senators. Let Gl
oria finish her term. I believe in her now.

I'll say, Abolish the pork barrel. They should use that money for the soci

If these politician just do their job they suppose too. This problem the p

Is not only that the reason there is more "N" more filipino people are hungry b

You don't have to be hungry to impeach her. She should be kick out a long

Economy is already down. This is one of the reason why there is more fili

Because of the money remmittance that the OFW are sending back home. The econom

The taxes collection is fall short. So, I'll say, She's lying to her teeth. She

Yes, Lets keep our torch burning! for a better Philippines. And kick this
bugos President of cebu. This is the only way for the Philippines to move forwa
rd to get these corrupt government employee's accountable for their action. Thr
ow their ass in jail where they belong. Enough is enough.
impeachment will once again plung our country to uncertainty. we have a strong
economic foundation now, so why risk losing it once again? impeachment will o
nly serve the interest of those people who salivates for power. the losers wou
ld be the majority of the people who would be greatly affected by the vested in
terests of the few. some people are being utilized as pawns by these hungry po
liticians who rides on the sentiment of some people. they'll promise reforms,
etc. but sad to say, once in power they would be corrupt, if not more corrupt,
than the present dispensation. accept it, politicians, per se, are corrupt.
why are they so hell bent in winning? because there is power, influence and mon
ey in it. honest? they stink!
true! impeachment is a waste of time. let GMA finished her term. at least she i
s doing great putting a strong foundation of the country's economy. pustahan ta
yo, corruption will still go on kahit sinong maging next president. it's just
all empty promises of self-serving politicians.... that's why don't be carried
so much by their empty words.
If GMA will be impeached again, the peso/dollar rate will deteriorate back to 5
5 pesos per dollar, the budget deficit will balloon to more than 200b, the stoc
k market in RP will crash, tourism arrivals will shrink, investors will be pull
ing out, credit rating for RP will go down and all the negative effects of a po
isoned political atmosphere. OFW remittances will continue to grow because it i
s a necessary but it can no longer control the depreciation of the peso due to
uncertainty. We can always choose for the worst if we still cannot accept prese
nt realities.
Pag manatili s
i GMA lutas din ba problema natin? Sinong makapagbigay ng katiyakan sa inyo????
Impeaching GMA is not primarily about evidence. Its about numbers. Yan ang sina
bi mismo ni Nograles, Villafuerte at iba pa.
So, as long as GO could muster the numbers on with impeachment.
Its the noblest cause of all. forget about economy. Propaganda lang yan ng admi
nistrasyun. Its just a mirage.
Tama yan Mr. Gabby. That's th
e spirit! Go Filipino!!! Go Philippines!!!
i donât see any relation between feeding the hungry & the impeachment. our
laws doesnât see the co-relation bet the two. violation of the law and or const
itution is a crime punishable by the law itself. thereâs no parallel bet. our h
ungry stomach and the crime committed. itâs like you stole a drug in the pharma
cy or food at the restaurant and seemingly said to police that your children ar
e sick or hungry and you want to be released?
now the problem we will be facing for our future generation is that itâs ok fo
r them to do things that are in violation of our laws of the land. and all our
future generation will do the same. and this is not good sign to inculcate to
our young children that stealing the highest position of the land, and doing co
rrupt practices by our leaders is just ok for our society.
therefore my conclusion is that whoever violated our laws and our constitution
must be served with utmost law of the land. for now, the only possible actions
to serve with this case of violation is only through impeachment. due to the im
munity status, our law cannot put a sitting president in jail, only when the te
rm expired that it can be served to jail.
therefore any crime must pay and that no one is above the law regardless if we
are president of the republic or just an ordinary citizen.
in the case of GMA, it is impossible to impeach her for now bec. of the voting
numbers at congress. but GMA should answer the case thrown at her. she should
not escape from all her accusations. when her term expires at presidency she sh
ould face and answer all the accusations otherwise the people will put her to j
ail.
It must be admitted that the odds of getting Arroyo impeached is near to nil. O
ne used a metaphor here of not punishing a hold-upper since the act may be for
family but that it is not simply wise, to put Arroyo similar to a criminal, kil
ling for stealing. She cheated the 2004 elections, yes, that is a fact, (she wo
n it, that is also a fact) but she is just very lucky that the events went favo
rably for her. And she is doing her job properly. The latest news of GDP in the
1st quarter of 2007 running at 6.9%, the third next to China and Vietnam in th
e region, cannot just be simply ignored as one of her good jobs. Yes, it must b
e admitted that the effects of this GDP hasnât been reached the grassroots yet,
for this time, but later on it will be and Iâm pretty sure that no common peop
le would thank her for that. No, not even, the anti-GMA forces that invaded thi
s blog. Nevertheless, with the way a sales lady working and the business gettin
g profits contributed by her hard work, even if she cheated on her CV, only an
idiot businessman will fire her immediately, knowing that her contract will las
t only for 6 months. What he would do then is to watch her carefully, just maki
ng sure she wonât pilfer on the daily sales by applying controlled measures. An
auditor or a good Chief Operating Officer would know this. As what Joker Arroy

would not benefit from it.â And it is a common knowledge that even if Joker ra
n with the TU in this election, he couldnât be stopped from criticizing GMA if
she would commit error. If one would analyze the figures of the latest GDP, the
main contributors are the consumer spending, of course, money mostly from the
OFWs, the government spending for infrastructures, but, take note, less on fixe
d investments. Where are the investments? More on the portfolios, meaning inves
tors are still cautious. Filipinos must assure these investors that the politic
al climate is fine before they come on a long term basis. So disturb the climat
e, investors will pull out their portfolios, dollar will return to Php 56, OFWs
will be happy, for a while, why? Inflation will rise and the value of peso wil
l be right beneath oneâs foot. As inflation rises, interest rates shoot up, no
fixed investments, no jobs, hungry Filipinos. Sounds logical. These are not a m

The current Senatorial results have reflected this trend. Impeachment as a mode
to solve corruption in the highest levels is one of the options in the table.
What? Impeachment again? The winning senators have not been proclaimed yet and
here the GO allies are already thinking of impeachment? This convinces me that
indeed the opposition has no platform of government except to file impeachment
against GMA year in and year out. They're a bunch of power hungry politicians w
ho cannot wait for 2010 and mind you, this GO will implode come 2010 and their
supporters will be scattered as their brains are now.
By the way, if GO and it allies including the supposed to be overwhelming suppo
rters of the opposition, why didn't they vote for more opposition congressmen s
o that GMA could have been easily impeached. Enough numbers in the lower house
to bring impeachment case to the Senate and enough numbers in the Senate to con
vict GMA.
Impeachment is a simple political process that relies on numbers more than issu
es. Well, need I say more what will happen to the planned impeachment? It's dea
d by sheer stupidity. Only people's money is lost by another useless exercise i
n Congress.
The opposition allied congressmen even dwindled to trickle. Such stupidity inde
ed. Wanting to impeach GMA but cannot muster even the barest minimum numbers of
congressmen to get elected to at least give a semblance of an impeachment that
is breathing with life.
This Cayetano and Custodio should be given lesson in plain, common sense. But t
hey don't teach this in school not even in the state university they call UP. E
ither one has it or he's born fool to being with.
As it is, impeachment is alive and thriving only in the loud mouths of the oppo
sition, their inherently senseless supporters and in the media. A clever man is
one who works to achieve his goals. Now you know who is clever: the opposition
or GMA?
The argument that people are tired of impeachment does not hold. By voting 8-2-
2 in favor of the Genuine Opposition, the sovereign Filipino people clearly sen
d a message that they approve the impeachment of GMA thru delegation of the sov
ereign will to the Senate.
All those invocation of good economy has been rejected by the people. Despite t
hat insistence, the people choose the opposition.

The only way the Philippines can move forward is to get rid of these corr
upt government employee's.
Especially Gloria Arroyo, Because there is solid evidence against her. For as l
ong as she's the one in power the Philippines surely going down the drain.
drhenry4
An

Ha, ha, ha,...I guess its your right to believe whatever you want to beli
eve. That Gloria Arroyo, so call booming economy. If it is true that the Philip
pines economy is better why is it there is more filipino people can't hardly ea
t.
Truth of the matter is, Her so call booming economy is pad. Just like she pad h
er votes in May 10, 2004. Presidential election to ensure her winning.
6.9% is good. If you're an accountant, 6.9% is counted round figure as 7%
My question is, Where did she get that figure, When the taxes collection is fal
l short.? If she's really an economist Gloria Arroyo, Should know better. That
this so call booming economy is a temporary situation. Because most of that boo
ming economy from the money remmittance the OFW sending back home.
Lets face it. Gloria Arroyo, Is the biggest LEMON. I still say, DITCH HER OUT.
I HAD ENOUGH WITH HER BULLSHIT. SHE'S BEEN SQUATTING IN MALACANYANG PALACE FOR
SEVEN YEARS. SHE ALREADY SHOW THE FILIPINO PEOPLE WHAT SHE CAN DO. SHE'S THE BI
GGEST FAILURE. PERIOD.
It's unfortunate that some readers think this is an either-or situation.
GMA has been accused of lots of things. She should not be denied due process.
She should be given a chance to clear her name. Otherwise, in the eyes of the
people, as this election showed. she is guilty. The Legislature has no reason
for being if their concern is limited to "booking" laws. They need to give su
ch laws teeth so that they are properly interpreted by the Judiciary and enforc
ed by the Executive branch. It's about time our people relearn their lessons o
n democracy and the system of checks and balances.
That issue of course has nothing to do with the very important issue of hunger
and poverty. Our lawmakers cannot claim they believe in democracy if this issu
e is not urgently and promptly addressed. By the same token, they need to ensu
re that the appropriations for various purposes including those intended to hel
p the poor and the hungry are not spent on JocJoc horse manure and vote-buying
and other purposes that deprive the legitimate beneficiaries.
The Senate and the Lower House have committees. The two issues, and more, can
be simultaneously addressed. In fact, there are many committees that handle va
rious issues, such that other equally important issues are not ignored.
One important issue should not take from the other, although we have to admit t
hat several problems may have common solutions. But they will soon enough reve
al themselves. It is for us to strongly suggest to our lawmakers various conce
rns that should be included in their agenda so they can be properly addressed.
by wining 8-2-2 in the senatorial election it absolutely mean that most Filipin
os are feed-up with the leadership of GMA. And most are seeking an answer for t
he accusations done by the opposition. in the campaign period, the platform of
the opposition is to continue the impeachment proceedings though the opposition
cannot muster the majority votes. but the filipino people knew the battle cry
of the opposition in the campaign. and that is to put the immoral issues of cur
rent leadership.
the problem with us filipinos is that we donât have the will to identify the go
od & the bad governance. still up these days we lack the will to live in a
honest & goodness character. to identify the immoral issues of cheating, th
e lying & the mis-used of govtâ funds to the people. as what iâve said bef
ore, it is ok to let GMA finish her term âifâ she still have the moral ascenda
ncy to govern. but the problem these days is that even her being the presidency
is in question bec. of her cheating in the last election, and more than that t
he abuse of the power and the mis-used of funds to the people. Maybe if this ha
ppened to other countries for sure the president had long been impeached or rem
oved from the power either by force or by people power.
why is it that we are equating the immoral issues to the economic issues? our
country had long been suffered with our economic turmoil. there are millions of
people who are still starving, millions are still out-of-school, millions stil
l have no jobs to find. if we can just, Filipinos, learn the basic norm of mor
al living then for sure we can live in a honest & God-fearing goodness of b
eing a true Filipino. the progress of the republic depends on
good governance of the leader. look at our asian neighbors, the Japanese, the K
oreans, the Chinese, the thais. these countries are attracted most by the weste
rn companies bec. of the good governance of the leader. these countries hate a
corrupt & a cheat leader. the progress of a country depends on the good go
vernance and not just on the power to govern by force and by forgiving the one
who committed the immoral ascendency.
it is like you rape a woman and you said to the police and to the aggrieve lady
and her family âIâm Sorryâ? so, where is the justice there?
To Kuwentong Kanto,
The battle ground for impeachment is not in the Senate but in the lower house w
here the overwhelming members belong to the GMA faction.
Even if all 12 of the GO candidates win, nothing will happen with impeachment s
imply because Congress is controlled by the President's allies. What were the p
eople doing who wanted GMA out? Why did they not vote for the opposition candid
ates for Congressmen?
Maybe, the people wanted the Senate as a counter balance to the President but m
ade sure to vote for GMA supporters to make sure that GMA remains president. Ot
herwise, if the people really wanted GMA impeached, they could have voted any c
andidate associated with GO but they did not.
Here are the issues in relation to everyday life of a Filipino
1. HIGH COST OF ELECTRICITY â This has been haunting Filipinos since Ramos
. Common knowledge it is because of the IPPs. Not simple as that. NAPOCOR is th
e biggest monster the government is feeding coming from 30% of Filipinoâs incom
e in the form of tax. The officials and ex-officials of NAPOCOR have been there
since Erap, and they are really earning big from their salaries and kickbacks.
These people are hiding at the back of Arroyoâs âHello Garciâ and election che
ating since congressional hearings are not as dramatic as the voting for the im
peachment complaint or FGâs German bank account. Was the EPIRA law given time t
o be revised and scrutinized? No any initiative either from the majority or fro
m the righteous minority, not even from the two young righteous, talkative guys
who are now nearly to be proclaimed as Senators in the next few days. IMPEACHM
ENT WAS THEIR PRIORITY, with all the actions and crying a telenovela has. Is th
is issue affecting the life of Juan de la Cruz? VERY MUCH.
2. RICE CARTEL â Unknown to many Filipinos, there exist a cartel in the sa
le of rice. Since Filipinos cannot produce rice enough for the countryâs demand
, there is no choice but to import rice, mostly from Thailand. Take note, the i
dea of hybrid rice and planting came from where? UP Los Baños (sounds familiar
, I think thatâs in Philippines). A group of businessmen (mostly are Filipino-C
hinese) are the one importing them and selling them AT THEIR OWN PRICE. No comp
etition, good business profits. Did anyone hear a single congressional hearing
regarding this issue from any of the above winning Senators? Nyaahh. With all t
he nice media dramatic speeches, this issue did not even pop up. Only the IMPEA
CHMENT. Is this issue affecting the life of Juan de la Cruz? I think heâs alrea
dy hungry.
3. And the most obvious one, the CARTEL IN PETROLEUM PRODUCTS. For almost
10 years, this Oil deregulation law has been a pain at the back of Juan de la C
ruz. Every eye can see, only an idiot cannot comprehend, that there is an oil c
artel existing. Was this issue dramatically debated on the floors of the Senate
and the House? Anyone can remember?
4. TRAFFIC â Letâs go local. There exists a road from Alabang passing thru
Ayala Southvale traversing Molino Road Bacoor Cavite until Aguinaldo Highway.
This is named Daang Hari. In fact, in the original plan this road will link to
a highway going to Tagaytay City. People from Dasmariñas and Bacoor (specifica
lly Molino) working at Makati can now use the road from Molino to Alabang (than
ks to Sen. Manny Villar), but people from the Aguinaldo highway has to pass to
the converging duct of Talaba, Bacoor leading to Coastal Road since part of Daa
ng Hari that will link with Aguinaldo highway is not finished yet. A Caviteño
can testify in any hearing how big the traffic jam is in Talaba during rush hou
rs. When was this project proposed? Ramos time. When did it start? Year 2002. F
ive years had passed. Where were Lacson and Remullaâs? Lacson even bragging he
did not use his pork barrel when it would have helped Caviteños. Never mind th
e Remullaâs. Nothingâs new since their oldies were the same, no project. THIS I
S JUST ONE EXAMPLE of the many roads that should have been started, pending to
be constructed, that can be initiated by any Senator above. Is the monstrous TR
AFFIC JAM affecting the everyday life of Juan de la Cruz? It affects very much
psychologically, just imagine traveling everyday for a total of 4 hours back an
d forth in just a short distance. Maybe thatâs the reason Filipinos cannot anal
yze properly, and yes, they had more time listening to radio during filing of i
mpeachment complaint, and many heard the speeches of Cayetano and Escudero. Yah
, thatâs why they won.
These are just a few of the many issues that must be given priority by politici
ans. Will another impeachment process solve them? If you are short sighted and
always looking at the past, 2004 election cheating, then pity you. You will suf
fer these issues for the next 20 years.
GMA instructed her Energy secretary this week to initiate review of EPIRA law a
nd proposed changes. I think thatâs a good start. So better sit down and be on
guard of your President whom you charged of cheating, if sheâs doing her job. I
f the GDP goes flat (like the brainwaves of some of the bloggers here), interes
t rates of your credit cards goes up, and you donât find wanted jobs at any Sun
day news paper and stock market index is nearly 900 points since investors are
flying out of the country (just like what happened in 1998-2001 prior to EDSA 2
), then do not impeach GMA anymore. Letâs do EDSA 3 and KICK HER OUT!
IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!
ohan nyang pinaggagagawa. Malakas ang loob nya because she was protected by her
evil allies especially in the congress and the secretary of injustice. I belie
ve,time will come na pananagutan nya ang mga kasalan nya sa taumbayan.Sabi nga
ni JOKER ARROYO,and i quote,"WE CANNOT HAVE A COUNTRY RUN BY A THIEF".
Kim
in the case of GMA, it is impossible to impeach her for now bec. of the voting
numbers at congress. but GMA should answer the case thrown at her. she should n
ot escape from all her accusations. when her term expires at presidency she sho
uld face and answer all the accusations otherwise the people will put her to ja
il.

They did try to impeach her but nothing happen because the people who's be
en protecting her well not sign the impeachment trial. Even though there is sol
id evidence against her. We need a strong person who can stand for what is righ
t, Strong enough to protect and serve the filipino people not their own interes
t.
After all these people setting in office suppose to serve and protect the filip
ino people but yet they're the one killing the filipino people. They're abusing
their power. this is not the kind of person we need to sit in government offic
e's. I'll say, Its time to overhaul the entire corrupt government office's. If
you want for the Philippines to move forward.
to kim:
"i donât see any relation between feeding the hungry & the impeachment. our
laws doesnât see the co-relation bet the two. violation of the law and or cons
titution is a crime punishable by the law itself. thereâs no parallel bet. our
hungry stomach and the crime committed. itâs like you stole a drug in the pharm
acy or food at the restaurant and seemingly said to police that your children a
re sick or hungry and you want to be released?
now the problem we will be facing for our future generation is that itâs ok for
them to do things that are in violation of our laws of the land. and all our f
uture generation will do the same. and this is not good sign to inculcate to ou
r young children that stealing the highest position of the land, and doing corr
upt practices by our leaders is just ok for our society.
therefore my conclusion is that whoever violated our laws and our constitution
must be served with utmost law of the land. for now, the only possible actions
to serve with this case of violation is only through impeachment. due to the im
munity status, our law cannot put a sitting president in jail, only when the te
rm expired that it can be served to jail.
therefore any crime must pay and that no one is above the law regardless if we
are president of the republic or just an ordinary citizen."

nice analogy KIM I agree, the only thing i dont agree is, she should answer the
charges before congress while shes still squatting as the president.
there is a reason why GMAs lineup for senate lost 8-2-2 is the quality of peopl
e she chose, it seems like her lineup was a desperation one, singson? pichay? d
efensor? OMG, please know who these people are, its a desperate lineup because
no quality candidate would run under GMA because they wouldnt be able to stomac
h the "garapalan" that has been going on.
we seem to have this thinking that if we impeach GMA that she will be found gui
lty/impeachment is just a process to flush out the truth.
GMA has been pushing the limits of the constitution to a point that the judicia
l branch has to decide if it is within limits of the constitution.
"The evidence, at that time, was valid and definitely pushed through. Thus, ERA
P was impeached at the Lower House"
ERAP was not impeached the trial was sent to the senate but never impeached, I
wanted to see the trial go through the to end but the rest is history. The same
way I want an impeachment trial for GMA.
This much is sure GMA is going to push cha cha again in our throats and she is
going to spend billions again just to get it started. It is not the impeachment
thats going bring the economy down its GMAs cha cha and her policies.
