FILIPINOS are entitled to one vote each. It represents the heart and soul of a
person who is longing that his voice will be heard, though faint in the million
s of votes.
Shave a vote and you kill entirely that faint voice and literally, the essence
of that person's right to suffrage. The Philippines, Mindanao in particular, ha
s become a graveyard of honest election watchers, teachers and volunteers. It h
as also become a stinking place of dishonest government appointees like Lintang
Bedol.
Justice, strike where you need to strike and I will be there to believe in your
name. Justice, hear the last breath of heroes that died looking for you.

justice is very ellusive.......
remember JAJA, justice for aquino, justice for all, hanggang ngayon walang nany
ari......
ano ba ang ginagawang batas ng ating mga legislators to help the victims of inj
ustices.........
tapat ba at tunay at makatarunggan ba ang mga hatol ng ating mga hukom.......
ipinatutupad ba ang ating mga batas na walang kinikilingan at pantay pantay....
..
justice, sana ay maging abot kamay ka.......
It is not fair to generalize Mindanao as stinking place of dishonest government
appointees. Bedol is just one of many public servants, majority of these publi
c servants are dedicated to their work and duty. It is just unfortunate that a
n act of few become a general perception of the area which is quite unfair to o
thers.
Justice is a thing nobody could find in this country. If you take a look at the
person of the Secretary of Justice focusing on his demeanor, the justice he is
heading is no different from himself.
Count me in, Rynor. Whatever it takes, count me in. I'm very sure we are not al
one, the multitudes are with us. If, however,we are alone, let's find Justice j
ust the same, whatever and where ever it will take us. Now is the time to start
, or it will be too late; the rolling, voracious, and insatiable monster will e
ngulf us into it's abominable throat. Better to die seeking justice than dying
slowly in that monster's throat.
Justice is only for people who are in government because only them are justifia
ble???... According to them!!!
All injustices are for people or politicians who exposed the government's wrong
doings!!!
Two of my posts here in ELECTION 2007 BlogPost were taken out. One here, as my
response to the entry of Rynor Jamandre, the other to another entry. In the int
erests of freedom of expression, and in the name of fair play since you invited
us to make comments, I would like to demand an explanation. If the reason for
your deleting my response to Rynor is because you find it inflamatory, let me p
oint to you that Rynor's entry is more so, even if it is written in a somewhat
poetic form, while mine is a more candid interpretations of the same. Rynor's e
ntry here is talking about injustice, and how we, as a citizen, can find justic
e. I said in my response we will find it whatever it takes. Then it was deleted
. Would you rather we look for justice with half-hearted effort? Are you in the
Inquirer serious with your advocacy? My other post taken out contains the word
s 'innermost sanctum of the sink hole', just a figure of speech. My goodness, g
uys, I can't believe this, you, in the Inquirer, of all people.
Heheh Bert, it seems they're scared of being subject to wiretapping because of
"terrorism by public opinion" :)
To: Kabayan
Pards, I like that phrase you said, 'Terrorism by public opinion'. Not good to
the ears, espacially if alluded to me because, definitely, my statements are no
t intended to terrorize, by any stretch of the imagination-just intended for th
e good of all of us. But I like the way you said it, so no worry. Still, if it'
s terrorism by public opinion, that's a better alternative to terrorism by publ
ic uprising, hehehehe. Going back, I have forgiven the Inquirer guys, they rest
ored my two blogposts, hehehehe.
thanks bert but actually your posts were never deleted :)
we need to moderate all the comments, and with hundreds across our different bl
ogs, sometimes it can take some time for comments to appear.
cheers!
Chee
rs Bert :)
Yes, Justice where art thou? A good question to ask. Is Justice in Gloria's han
ds? Esperon's? Gonzales'? Abalos'? and lately Lintang Bedol's?
Justice is so elusive...injustice- it is written all over the place...very easy
to find: Jonas Burgos, Subic rape case victim and all other victims of militar
ization before our very eyes...
As I see it, justice in the Philippines applies subjectively. It is influenced
by whoever is in power. Look at the cases of highly influential people like Nan
i Perez, Jocjoc Bolante, Hello Garci, Bedol, Jose Pidal, were they ever prosecu
ted and made to answer for their crimes to the people??? if prosecuted, what is
the status of these cases? are these cases (if ever) given preference just lik
e what they did to people who are not aligned with the administration? Worthy t
o note also are the circumstances leading to the highly questionable win of the
12th senator (garapalan talaga). Now my friends.....WHERE IS JUSTICE?
TO ALL
I know this to be out of place. Please bear with me. I just want to create aw
areness by choosing the busy forum or the latest.
Do consider Dr. Martin Bautista for the next elections obviously (a senatorial
candidate of âAng Kapatiranâ together with Adrian Sison and Zosimo Paredes). H
eâs a 44-year-old gastroenterologist in the US who came home after 17 years. Y
ou can see from his background that he truly means service. For those who find
him to be a hypocrite for working abroad, do understand heâs a family man who
needs to sustain his family, that he will be able to keep his independence by n
ot relying on public funds to support his family. He helps his countrymen in h
is capacity but itâs just not enough for there are millions of Filipinos. Itâs
a good start in Philippine Politics to have him and his party around.
I urge you to forward/text/inform all your contacts about them. I believe they
only lack exposure thatâs why Iâm doing this. But I canât do it alone so Iâm
appealing to everyoneâs help. If all will inform their contacts about them and
urge them as well to forward, we might hit a million.
We cannot afford to be indifferent now if we want meaningful change. Otherwise
we only have ourselves to blame. BUT TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
BTW, Iâve posted this on the different topics just to be sure.
It has been months since I wrote the Inquirer of the sad state of our electoral
system in light of Bedol's action during the election. Did anything happen to
Mr. Bedol for him to realize how he fared as a Comelec official and as a citize
n?
Nothing. And I would leave the same question, Justice, where art thou?
And to some point, I look for Hope, not the cigarette or of James Yap infamy. T
he Hope that someday, a leader will rise from our folds and lead this country t
o greater heights, less the corruption and disbelief in government.
And I hope that day will come when my children would wake up to a better Philip
