I CONGRATULATEÂ Judge Pimentel on his ruling
denying Mr. Trillanes free rein to attend Senate hearings.
If Mr. Trillanes thinks he can escape the consequences of his actions by hiding
behind the skirts of an election victory, the law still has proven him wrong.
He tried to gain power by stepping over our laws and now he uses the same syste
m to try to bail himself out.
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas.

We don't need Trillanes in the senate. With the Daily Inquirer frequently attac
king the administration, who needs an opposition senate?
COMMON SENSE is arresting:
1. Those involved in trying to destroy our democracy through numerous Executive
Orders like E.O. 464. and E.O. 1017
2. Those who wish to ram Cha-cha down our throats
3. Those who participated in election fraud with Garcillano and Bedol
4. Garcillano and Bedol themselves
5. Those who tamper passports especially those in the DFA themselves
6. Those who cover-up, protect and even give Coast guard escort to illegal fish
ermen back to their country (ex. Chinese fishing boat caught at Tubhattaha prot
ected Philippine marine sanctuary - this has happened several times to boot)
7. Those involved in the Fertilizer scam
8. Jocjoc Bolante
9. Those involved in the North Railway scam
10. Policemen who served warrantless arrests
11. Those who bans freedom of speech and assembly
12. Those who threatens and arrests media personnel
13. Those who ignored public bidding (example; like the bidding of the dozens u
pon dozens of police cars)
14. Those who coddle and protect corrupt people and criminals (ex. like those w
ho protect and benefited from COMELEC Garcillano, Gambling Lords like the Pined
as, Jocjoc Bolante etc.)
15. Those who arrested witnesses to election fraud in Lanao and those who jaile
d good soldiers like Gen. Miranda and Colonel Balutan by making the midnight Ex
ecutive order 464
16. Those who arrested people for simply wearing "Palitan na, Now na" T-shirts,
those who banned leaders from making a speech in a Luneta rally
17. Those who raided (without warrant) a house where the opposition were analyz
ing fraudulent electoral returns
18. Those responsible for the loss and tampering of ballot boxes in Congression
al custody
19. Those who assassinated or kidnapped electoral fraud witnesses like Musa Dim
asidsing and 3 other teachers for being honest and having integrity
20. Gambling Lords like the Pinedas and Singsons to name a few
21. Military, police officers and government officials who enriched themselves
in gambling operations especially those with opulent lifestyles (Maj. Mosqueda,
generals and government officials)
22. Those who destroy the spirit of the law for the ends of the corrupt few esp
ecially the one in the top position of the Department of Injustice.
23. Those who engaged in killing journalists and people simply because they spo
ke out against corruption and anomalies.
24. Those people, despite knowing all these, continue to support this corrupt a
nd evil system simply because they are: a. Paid
b. Employees of government
c. They are relatives and friends of the corrupt officials themselves.
d. Directly or indirectly benefit from a corrupt system
25. Those who allows, participates and abets a host of other crimes by those in
power
Is this enough common sense for you?
I don't think Judge Pimentel represents the law. Far from it. On the contrary
, it boggles the mind how on earth he was able to become a lawyer if he interpr
ets references to precedents as applying pressure on him. Onli in da pilipins!
HERE'S AN IDEA ALL YOU PINOY BLOGGERS : BLOG ON THE WHO
IN THE PHILLIPINES ARE REALLY SCREWING UP THE COUNTRY. LET YOUR
IMAGINATION SOAR. SPARE NO ONE.
On that part of Pimentel's decision stating that allowing Senator Trillanes to
attend Senate sessions 5 days a week would make him a free man, does not the ju
stice system say that a person is assumed innocent until proven guilty? Since
Senator Trillanes' military and civilian cases are still ongoing, that makes hi
m far from being a convicted person, and comparisons with Romeo Jalosjos when t
he latter was already a convicted criminal offender were not here nor there!
On that part where the judge compared the 11 million that voted for Senator Tri
llanes against the 85 million Filipinos, by extension Judge Pimentel was also s
aying that even Senator Loren Legarda, the election topnotcher, with 16 million
votes, did not get enough support from the electorate! Ha ha ha, such logic. L
ucky for use, not all judges in the Philippine judiciary think as Pimentel does
!
That decision really stinks to high heavens!

Palace actions vs SC questioned
Budget cut, CHEd reshuffle noted
By Veronica Uy
INQUIRER.net
Last updated 11:32am (Mla time) 08/06/2007
MANILA, Philippines -- Malacañang has âunceremoniouslyâ sacked the brother of
Chief Justice Reynato Puno from the Commission on Higher Education, slashed by
about P1 billion the 2008 budget for the judiciary, and disapproved funding for
the Manila City Hall of Justice requested by Puno.
Senate Majority Leader Francis Pangilinan said Monday that these actions by the
Palace appeared to be in retaliation for Chief Justice Punoâs holding of the s
ummit on extrajudicial killings in July.
âIs Malacañang punishing the Supreme Court for calling the summit on extrajudi
cial killings? Is it exacting vengeance after the summit raised the issue of Pr
esident Gloria Macapagal-Arroyoâs possible liability for the unabated killings?
â he asked.
CHEd chief Carlito Puno is the brother of Chief Justice Puno.
âWe are disturbed by these recent developments arising between the executive de
partment and the judiciary. Is Malacañang waging a silent, âdirtyâ war against
the Supreme Court?â the senator asked.
Pangilinan, who received a fresh mandate in the May 2007 elections, recalled ho
w Malacañang declared war against the Senate when the Palace issued Executive
Order 464 and refused to recognize the Senateâs constitutional power to summon
Cabinet officials to attend hearings.
âEO 464 undermined the Senate as an institution and impaired its independence.
It also prevented the Senate from exercising its constitutional duty to serve a
s a check and balance on the executive branch,â he said.
Pangilinan said these actions, which might undermine the independence of the hi
gh tribunal, could pre-empt a constitutional crisis.
âIf true, we vow to rally behind the Supreme Court to oppose such moves. We hop
e this is untrue and the developments mere coincidences,â said Pangilinan.
âI believe Malacañang should clarify these recent turn of events coming as it
does at a time when the Supreme Court has been very vocal about extrajudicial k
illings. Is this Malacañang's response to extrajudicial killings? Attacking th
e Supreme Court? We certainly hope not,â he said.
The issue of extrajudicial killings has tainted the Philippinesâ image before t
he international community.
Last week, 49 United States congressmen wrote to the President to ask her to pr
osecute those responsible for the killings generally believed to have been perp
etrated by members of the military.
Early this year, United Nations Rapporteur for Extrajudicial Killings Professor
Philip Alston conducted a fact-finding mission and made the same conclusion th
at government security forces were responsible for the crimes.
Human rights organization Karapatan said that about 800 activists, journalists,
labor unionists, and church people have been killed since Arroyo took over gov
ernment in 2001.

again and again, philippines politics proves to be the best habitat for politic
al clowns, and nowhere else in the world.
newly elected senator trillanes was given an overwhiming votes by the people. w
ho says vox populi vox lei, the voice of the people is the voice of god. a lot
of things happens in not so long a past, gloria robbed the presidency from erap
, then, gloria cheated da king of his election victory, now, the gloria adminis
tration thru judge pimentel refused to follow the mandate of the people which
is the voice of god. the constitution and the law of the philippines is nothing
but a piece of paper under gloria presidency. what a shame??? so, i wonder wha
t is the best alternative, after all most of the country's political leaders a
re a bunch of political thieves. there are a lot of people in the government th
at committed more serious crimes than trillanes. and they are not in jail. peop
le robbing the government ginormous sums... millions of pesos, like the one in
agriculture. and where is jocjoc. WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!
Youre congratulating the judge for the ruling on the Senator Trillanes case,
This ruling doesnt mean the end of the road for Senator Trillanes.
Our hope and fighting spirit for our Senator still remain. Senator will be bles
sed for his patriotic act that voices out the problem in Military circle and Co
rrupt Government official.
Do you think you can do what he has done? You must Congratulate him because he i
s concern for the future of all our kids not himself.
What power are you refering to, cammon there are so many military revolt happe
ns during the fast few years all of them want change did they have the power.
He doesnt want to rule the country to be pwerful man he only wanted to voice ou
t the problem in military corruption .You have to read more and ask more.
He doesnt even hide on the skirt of the election victory,he want to serve, fight
and implement the laws that will help people suffering from the existing Gover
nment.
We believe that theres justice for Senator Trillanes...... go to this website a
nd you will know more www.sundalo tagapagtanggol ng pilipino
God Bless
Trillanes is disgrace to the filipino people (eh kasin ga politiko eh...lahat n
no...si Chief Justice Puno....SALUDO AKO SAYO CHIEF JUSTICE!!!!!!
Wag ka sanang matakot at magpaimluwensya sa mga nasa gobyerno na walang ibang i
niisip kundi ang sarili nilang kapakanan!!!!
susmaryosep!!!
Why can't a duly elected senator be in the senate interpollating and filing bi
lls for the good of the people? How can he be effective and feel the pulse of t
he people if he cannot mingle with the masses?
Trillanes has the least "guilt" compared to the dreaded Gringo war machine.
Honasan is free and a traitor.
Trillanes is in prison but a patriot.
Delrey,
What they intend to do is to stonewall Senator Trillanes and prevent him to do
his duties as a Senator of the republic. It's simple as that; all this so that
the corrupt can carry on their evil ways in governance. They know that it's har
d to put Trillanes in their pocket so they do everything to prevent Senator Tri
llanes to function in his duty as a Senator.
Secondly, is the present Executive branch a truly constitutional government? Wi
th what they did in the Garci inquiry where the magkaKAMPI quashed any investig
ation on the electoral anomalies, this leaves much room to doubt the constituti
onality of Gloria in her current position. Why do you think she attempted to de
stroy Philippine democracy in the first place? The pattern of her numerous dict
atorial type Executive Orders points to the direction on what kind of governmen
t she attempted to get... an Authoritarian one. If there are elements responsib
le for actual VERY SERIOUS attempts to derail the Philippine constitution, it i
s administration
As I said, the executive has much to answer in flaunting the constitution of ou
r country. Check out:

Oops wrong post location for Delrey, request editor to delete my post here for
Delrey, thanks.
In addition to list below -- common sense is arresting:
27. Those indiscriminately cut trees in City Parks (ex. Arroceros Park)
28.Those who continually try to find ways to do away with public bidding throug
h loopholes in âexecutive decisionsâ
29. Those using public funds for personal election campaigns
30. Those who instituted electoral fraud upon our OFWs abroad in the last elect
ion (Ahh, the corrupt in power thought this would not eventually be discovered)
Iâm certain that decent and impartial citizens of the Philippines have somethin
g to add to this list.
So the powerfully corrupt and influential are very fast in imparting a double s
tandard justice upon political enemies and worse, upon decent citizens railing
against anomalies, while they get away scot free from brazenly corrupt and evil
acts.
So are there double standards primarily perpetrated in current governance? To t
hose who look at the truth, the injustices can be seen in broad daylight.
saludo ako kay judge pimentel.........
trillanes should be in jail untill he is proven not guilty........
yon ang law, dapat sundin, be a good senator boy......
always adhere to the rule of law.......
no special treatment........
Oo nga nga naman, walang special treatment sa may gumawa ng kamalian liban na l
ang kung kasama o kakampi ng administrasyong Gloria

Do consider Dr. Martin Bautista for the next elections obviously (a senatorial

I urge you to forward/text/inform all your contacts about them. I believe they

Mr. Rudy Alinscad hit the bullseye regarding the ignorance of the voting public
especially on senatorial elections. Just examine the leadership qualities of t
he the recently elected senators, who consist of unconvicted killers, rebels wi
thout causes, grandstanders, and beauties without enogh brains to grasp and tac
kle the intricacies of legislative matters. Poor Philippines. Education is the
long term solution to this very serious problem. Good luck!
Now that a fair trial is over, despite representations from the best legal mind
s, Erap is found guilty, let the law applies the rightful and due punishment. W
hile he was savoring his best drinks with his Midnight Cabinet, he was reminded
many times by his one aide named Mr. Apo Lacquin about the consequences of his
many actions, he kept reminding Mr. Lacquian that he, Erep, is the president,
that nobody is suppose to question him, thinking and behaving like he was above
the law. Therefore, let him rot in Munti, give him all the drinks he wants til
l he dropsw dead. Let this be a lesson and reminder to our future leaders that
crime does not pay. Amen!
I am happy to read the comments of Sen. Legarda about the nutrional value conte
nts of Malungay or Moringa, The regular consumption of malungay by our poor peo
ple can hellp them ma long way with their daily nutrional needs. Therefore, let
us tasked the Depts. of Education, Health, Agriculture, and Local Government t
o disseminate all info, cultivation and propagation of this very precious tree
of life that contains a lot of Vitamins, such as A, B, and C, very rich in Calc
ium and Protein. Callin the attentions of Sens. Angara and Legarda to pass a re
solution enjoining the said departments to lead the drive.
