Mobius launches free-to-play arcade games
Mobius, subsidiary of Southeast Asian game services provider Digital Media Exchange, has launched its first selection of downloadable arcade games through mobiusarcade. Online gamers can now try, purchase and download popular arcade games like Diner Dash, Bejeweled 2, Desktop Sudoku and new titles like Disney’s Kim Possible, Pirates of the Caribbean pinball, and Peggle Deluxe.
To access mobiusarcade content, players simply browse the mobiusgames arcade or mobiuskids arcade catalogs to see what is available and download their choices to their PC or Mac. Arcade games are free to download and try. Users may opt to purchase a game after the trial period through mobiusonline. Games can range from 249 to 749 ePoints. (Approximately US$5 to US$16)
“With mobiusarcade, we are able to deliver an abundant selection of quality entertainment to the SE Asian market, at the lowest possible costs,” said Rob Locke, chief technology officer for DME. “The development of mobiusarcade has been a great experience. We’re thrilled to be adding on yet another form of digital media.”
