PS3 firmware update allows PS1 remote gameplay on PSP

A Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) firmware update on Dec. 18 offers a nice Christmas gift for all loyal PS gamers. The console now allows PS1 gameplay via PlayStation Portable (PSP) Remote Play.
This means PS1 games loaded on the PS3 hard drive can now be played via wireless connection or the Internet on the PSP. PS1 discs can also be played.
Because of this new capability, your classic PS1 games can be played anywhere in the world using the PSP via the Internet.
To use this cool feature, you need to update your PS3 to the 2.10 firmware, while the PSP must have the 3.72 firmware or later versions, the latest of which, 3.80, was likewise released on Dec. 18.
