PSP Slim hits 1-M milestone in Japan

PSP Slim

Sales for the new Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Slim available in Japan has surged to one million units sold, with more than half of it purchased in the first 14 days since debuting in September.

Handheld gamers seem to feel better off with the new PSP version as against the original “Fat” version, which had reached the milestone about two weeks more.

Thirty-three percent lighter than the original gadget, PSP has enjoyed brisk sales also due to the bundling of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and a TV tuner similar to the one offered on Nintendo DS.
