Love Bytes: MMO’s Celebrate Valentines (Part II)

And so, it comes to this sequel. Last time we have discussed about the Hardcore game’s unique valentine contest and now let’s move on to the cutesy ones. I know that many of you wanted to feature your favorite games but out of all the cutesy games.

Ragnarok Online’s tri-valentine events. Currently, there are three wonderful valentine events to choose from. However, it’s not really that unique. But still having three events is cool. Players have three options to choose from, either they tell the whole community how they became partners, or show the community how they love each other by posting a screenshot, and last but not least, tell the whole community why valentines means death day for them. The prizes are not “cheap? and definitely many people will join these events.

But Gunbound online has other things in mind. They adopted the sharing and receiving style of event but this time it has a twist. You will win when you have given many hearts to people. Another category is the receiver category. You will win if you have received lots of heart from other players. Cool armors await the winners of the said event.

Last but not least, I am certainly impressed with FlyFF’s Pangs’ heart event. It’s more of a community effort rather than an individual effort. On a given time limit, the inhabitants of each server will form a giant heart . The largest and the most “heart-like? will win. And the prize? X3 Drop rates for the winning server. It was actually concluded last valentines. The youngest server, Iblis, has won. I guess you already know that (*points up*). Now, if you’re wondering which server is which? From left to right, Bubble, Shade, and Iblis.

And yes, those dots represent players. Amazing huh?

Well, that’s all folks. I hope that everyone had a wonderful valentines. If not, well… there are other fishes in the sea. Remember, ang masamang damo ay matagal mamatay.

Oh wait, that is so wrong.

Sooorry.

*runs*
