It’s the three-avatars-in-one-control feature. Forgot what it’s called. (It is called Multi Character Control or MCC - Ed.) I was able to play during its Open Beta and that feature doesn’t promote community at all. It’s more of a soloist game rather than a party game. Although you can make squads, you’re pretty much good on your own. I can’t keep up a conversation with a friend because there’s so much to do. Another thing is the shortcut keys. but i find YOUR GAME BORING SO MUCH!!!! such a COMMON GAME for me and the only unique thing on it is the RACES that can be opposing force for each other…

i know you know this thing, but is YOUR RF had its very first PRESTIGIOUS AWARD? i guess NO, and NONE.

and only GE has that kind of award for its uniquenes and game features… even for its graphics… and its very powerful game engine…

i understand your thoughts, you’re your game. just as i LOVE my game.

so this is also my list of TURNED-OFF games:

*RAN(too ugly for me, i didnt intend to offend anyone, its my opinion only.)
*RAGNAROK 2D(too many hackers and scammers, even for the 1st place i didnt like it, id prefer playing RAGNAROK 2 which is 3d and highly detailed graphics.)
*ROSE(same as RAN opinion, such a childish game.)
*RF (though its gameplay is good and the graphics, but didnt impress me too much.)
*RAKION(it not even called MMORPG at all, because its FAR FAR from MMORPG at all.)

i guess you havent played such a good game like:

SUN : Soul of Ultimate nation by Webzen
ZERA: Imperan Intrigue by NEXON
or even Lineage II by NCSOFT
or MOnster Hunter Frontier by Detto CAPCOM
EXTEEL by NCSOFT
or did you even try paying…
Ragnarok 2: 3D ???

i guess still NOT, those games i mentioned are a must to play. and i played all of those games… and you’re stuck on that game of yours…

but still GE tops on the lists… and i guess when it come soon on your cafe it will steal people from their OLD games… because GE is a promising onine game.

RF caters to all types of gamers, roleplayers enjoy the rich roleplaying aspect of RF with fellow roleplayers in Altrax (is there any other local game who offers a chance to players to influence the on-going storyline of events? is there any other local game who can brag about letting the ir players dictate the mechanics of the next event by the decisions they make during the current event?)

Achievers enjoy the fame they get in being the first to get new items, being the most powerful, etc..

Killers get their blood lust satisfied by having PK available througout the game world. specially through the daily chip war.

even Explorers/Analytical gamer types enjoy the challenge of mapping out the best builds, the best counters to the tactics employed in the daily war.

We enjoy the tactics, the strategies, the sense of belonging and undying loyalty to one’s race (which is reflected in each player’s real lives), the rich storyline, the events, the EBs, the tournaments and the friendship and brotherhood that traditionally only true soldiers enjoy when bonded by their experiences in war.

we are RF fanatics, and we are legion.

so you go enjoy your game, we’ll stick to what we love.

and if you ever find yourself in Novus, look us up, we are always in need of good soldiers.

yes, i understand what you just said… and i know waht you feel too… and i know you will read my post that INTENDED to MAI … and just like you said, i am dedicated player of my own Game… and i will play it. just like you…

i know what line Mai just said, and that buggs me out, really.
but i respect her opinion and your opinion too… and its my opinion too to have mine.

and yes, i played RF korean version, the very first beta, when it was still not out to english-asia yet… and also the english version of it. the only thing different are people, i interract with… but i feel the same both version of that game. and i heard also about your legion.

i know you also enjoy your game just like me… but i think GE is not for MAI… i know she played it but NOT SO LONG… so she didnt get ALL the concepts of the game she played (GE). its just a pity. “im not a bad person, and peace is all i want.”

for my opinion, RAN online make me bored… maybe its not just fits my taste… because its not the type of game that i would like… maybe i stick too much to a HEAVE and DETAILED hardcore MMO just like the list of MMO that i mentioned above. but that’s not only the MMO i played, there’s more of it…

Played GE during Singapore-CB. Trying to enjoy GE too… I think I’ll stick to the other games. People are too busy doing their quests by themselves to even give a damn for other people.

Miss Mai was just saying her opinions on the games. She was asked so she answered, simple as that. You’re telling all this stuff about what games are good to play and blah blah blah. Well guess what, some people don’t give a jack about that. I agree that people play the games that suits their personality and interests, and like you said, are entitled to their opinions. Given that, we should respect what others think, give your side, they give thier’s, but don’t cross the line and start ranting and ranting just because you don’t have the same line of thinking.

Afterall she was the one interviewed, maybe next time if you would be interviewed then you could say the games that you don’t like =3

Have you played GE long enough to actually tell that there is no community? That’s what noobs say about GE, that it doesn’t have a community just because you already have 3 characters. Well, if you’ve played the game long enough, you’ll realize that GE has room for gamers who would rather play alone AND gamers who want to be part of a community.

Have you ever experienced boss hunting? Declaring war against another faction? Going on raid missions? If not, then you haven’t played GE long enough to claim that there is no community.

“hmmm 4 rf posters and one ge so far in this page. do the math” Do the math? For what? To prove that there are more RF supporters on this page, therefore RF is the better game? I don’t think so. You can’t actually compare the two, because one game is another grinding MMO, and the other’s a fresh MMO with new features.

I looked at the interview, and I wondered… why diss just 1 game? Actually, why diss a game at all? If she’s a serious gamer, she’d look into the pros and cons of every game she tried. I just hate the fact that her one-sided opinions make girl gamers look shallow in their gaming preferences and the aspects they look at in games.

Anyway… Moscos, I myself do not like GE. At first I liked it and its concept of new quests but unfortunately, there’s no “replay” factor of it for me. I’ve reached level 44 and that is it.

I’m done with GE… why?

The reason why I play MMORPGs is to meet new friends and talk to them. You can never shut me up whenever I’m on the keyboard. I have known some friends in GE.. but we can hardly talk because of the 3-character-feature and the so many skill sets to press that I get no more time to chat. Chatting in online games has been my life. So you can’t blame me if I ended up not liking GE. Maybe that is why Mai doesn’t like GE too. Because base from my knowing of this girl… SHE LOVES TO TALK too.

Therefore, we concluded that GE is much better as a console game rather than a MMORPG.

Did somebody ask YOU for your views? Was somebody interviewing you? I don’t recall anybody asking you which games you think is better. Why don’t you just set up your own blog and praise GE to high heavens there. You have to understand : If I was being interviewed, and was asked which game TO ME is crappy, and it so happens to be GE, then tough luck for you, but that is my ANSWER to the question. Besides, I don’t like playing with our fridge.

Honestly, I don’t know where people get their manners nowadays. It’s like this is about an interview, and not a beauty contest. If my girlfriend wanted to be interviewed for a beauty contest or whatnot, she would probably have made preparations. Like some blush on maybe (since that’s the only thing that she really needs. Sleeps late kasi due to playing games, which resulted in a pale complexion.)

hell, about lack of community, there is no such thing. even battle.net’s diablo 2 has community. what more GE?

@ Game issues:

Each player has a different playing style. Like what was previously said, each MMORPG caters to a specific type of gameplay that a gamer enjoys. It’s kinda like going RTS vs MMORPG vs First person Shooter XD They’re all good, but you will end up focusing on the one whose interface you love the most.

But in the end, graphics, bugs and politics aside, RF pa rin ako >:)
