2007 Ford National Team Shootout
The nation’s most fun tournament, the Ford National Team Shootout, holds its second edition this year with an even more impressive lineup of golf club participants in the modified scramble format.
Beginning March 10, 2007, the Ford National Team Shootout starts across the archipelago. Fresh from its success last year, the Federation of Golf Phils., Inc, Ford Motors and Golf Digest Philippines join forces once again to bring a bigger and more exciting tournament.
The National Team Shootout begins with the Club Level eliminations, where 27 Federation-member golf clubs hold eliminations to determine the club’s five team representatives to the Regional Satellites on April 23 to May 20. The Satellite winners then progress to the Grand Finals, held this year in Tagaytay Highlands and Midlands on May 31 and June 1, 2007. The participants of the Grand Finals then compete for the first prize, an all expenses paid golf vacation to a five star course in China.
