Andie Unson won the recent Scott Simpson Junior Golf Championships held at the Mission Trails Golf Club in San Diego, a par 71 course at 5,175 yards.

The hilly course with narrow fairways and water hazards that come into play gave the girls a lot of challenge.

Andie shot 8 over with a front 9 of 7 over. Her recovery in the back was unexpected because most of the “trouble” holes were located at the back.

Cha-cha Wilhoitte and Isabella Salant of San Diego finished second and third, respectively, at 10 and 11 over.

The win came after Andie claimed second place at the Coronado City/John Reudi Memorial Junior Golf Championships held at the Monte Vista Course of the Cottonwood Golf Club in San Diego. It was a par 72 course at 5,464 yards.

Andie shot a 7 over. Isabella Salant of San Diego won champ shooting at 3 over par.
