Tiger Woods is the overwhelming pick to win the British Open this week at Carnoustie based on a poll conducted by Golf Digest of golf managers and golf directors of top clubs around the country.

Woods, who is aiming to become the first player since Peter Thomson to win three consecutive British Open titles, received 11 first place votes out of the 14 votes received so far. Jim Furyk got one first place vote and four second place votes, while Phil Mickelson took one first place vote.
