By Relly Carpio INQUIRER.net sd-teamph-vs-global.jpgTHE PHILIPPINE Team (Team PH) in the Supreme Destiny World Championship League lost by a slight margin to Team Global in their match on February 22. "It was a very close call," said Sonny Carlos, IP-eGames product manager for Supreme Destiny. "The target boss had only about 5 percent to 10 percent life left when Team Global eliminated the boss of Team PH. Even the organizers said that this is the closest the outcome of a battle ever came since the beginning of the matches." Carlos shared. Team Global is composed of players from the international server, from countries that do not have a local distributor for the game Supreme Destiny, a medieval massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The object of the matches is to kill the main boss of your opponents. The boss is protected by guardians and cannons and his relative strength is based on the number of existing barracks in the camp. Three lanes lie between both camps as the only paths of attack. Three barracks regulate the strength of the boss. team-ph-vs-global.jpg "Team PH chose the middle lane of the map, while Global chose the lower lane. Team PH got two barracks using a focused attack maneuver before going for the cannons and the boss. Meanwhile Team Global went for a two-pronged attack, with half the team going for the boss while the others went for the barracks and cannons. In the end, it was a matter of numbers and luck with the amount of damage. It could have gone either way at the end of the match," Carlos said. "The battle lasted all of almost 12 minutes. Thirty seconds, that would have been the difference between the win and the loss. Both teams had one barrack left by the end of the match. The members of Team PH were very disappointed, but they showed good sportsmanship, no one did any trash talking. They were very gracious in their defeat," he added. The Supreme Destiny World Championship League was organized by With Your Destiny Global. At stake is a total of $10, 000 in cash prizes and rare in-game items.

It's the rule of the game that there should be only one winner but that doesn't decide that the losing team is any weaker. The Philippine team was admired by the crowd for their spirit of sportsmanship and to win the crowd is more important than winning. The team did not win but people talk about this event till now.
Thanks for sharing the wonderful article, this site really has something to read for everyone.
