AFTER THREE years, Khan, the fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game of Level Up! Inc. has closed its gates.
Launched in September 2004, under netGames, which later merged with Level Up!, Khan Online went commercial in 2005. According to the open letter presented by Level Up! to its “Khanatics,” they decided to “discontinue the contract for Khan which will expire on April 30, 2008, due to the lack of developer support, no new content, and patch fixes for in-game exploits/bugs.”
Level Up! gave out a migration package for its Khan players for entry into Perfect World, and compensation by giving extra MyLU Credits to loyal Khan players with reimbursement of all remaining in-game money and game time.
The servers were officially shut on May 1 at 9 a.m. A Khan Online Philippines tribute site may be found here.

There are lots of conspiracies there even when Ragnarok Online was still the top game. Imagine when War of Emperium was about to start suddenly the guild defending the castle auto-disbands? LOL! GMs giving away powerful items to friends? GMs telling players that it’s ok to bot? Yeah sadly it happens. There were some former employees who left because of those.
Stay away from Level-Up Games! Buying a $50 dollar MMORPG and paying $15 a month for that is much better than experiencing sh*tty service and being victimized by the corruption.

I won’t be surprised if RF Online is next.
It’s really all about LUG’s blatant disregard for the gaming communities who make sure they receive their monthly salaries.
LUG is so lucky to have so many loyal patrons. You just wish they would do the right thing.

Serves em right for not taking care of their loyal customers.
Poor game management is one of the major reasons why I veer away from Level Up sponsored games…
