A smiley greeting

| 3 Comments | 1 TrackBack
Say hello with a smile!WHEN answering a phone call, say "Hello!" with a smile. Whether you also say "Ignacio residence," "Good morning!" or "Thanks for calling XX company. How may I help you?" upon answering the phone, don't forget to put on that smile. It immediately puts you in a better disposition and the tone of your voice becomes friendlier. If you're in a bad mood before picking up that phone call, that smile of yours will make you feel calmer. Now if it still doesn't give you a little dose of cheer, well, just remember not to take out that bad mood of yours on that random caller. So, smile! And who knows? Perhaps the person on the other end of the line will feel a little more cheery too.

This is true! Even without seeing the other person on the line, one can feel the positive or negative vibration the person has. Besides, one does not lose anything if he or she puts a smile while responding to a call.

I completely agree, we can feel whether the receiver is with a smile or with a bad mood. I've tried this karma a dozen of times and it really works positively. There are times when I don't feel like attending to calls but I forcefully put on a smile because we're civilized people. I feel good phone etiquettes are very important, nobody likes to call a number which have a rude voice at the other end. It takes just 2 minutes to say you are busy in a polite way.
