As Christmas rolls down the halls, we take time out to ask all our avid readers:

Have you gotten your November issue of m|ph yet?

m|ph November!It’s big, it’s bright, and it’s in a very, very hot pink! November’s issue featured cut-rate substitutes for pricey accessories, people who pack a lot of gear, the best of the sub-10,000 peso phones, what Moore’s Law means for gadget prices two years from now, kiosk camera prints, and people who stick with the old (devices, that is).

And then there’s the columns, the editors’ picks for best freeware apps, and of course the reviews. Lots of reviews! We reviewed the Nokia 2600,the Siemens C65, the Panasonic X500 and the Panasonic X300 phones, the Anextek SP-230 Pocket PC Phone, the iPAQ 4700 PDA, the Olympus Mju Mini digital camera, the MSI M510C Megabook laptop, and lots more!

I haven’t gotten mine yet and spotted the issue yesterday at Bufini’s Glorietta. Still waiting for my subscription. Excited as usual especially since I am eyeing at least 2 gadgets featured. The IPAQ hx4700 and the Olympus mji mini. Can’t wait!!!

Just finish reading the articles. I pretty much like the article by Adel Gabot Confessions of a Closet Cheapskate. It help you realize that getting gadgets should also be something you need not something you want. This will really make you think what you will get on your next purchase.

Thanks for the information and the free apps just downloaded some of it.

got mine on december 3 but i haven’t started reading it yet. all i can say for now is: wow! the december issue, released on decmber 3! great improvement in terms of timing. great work guys! hope this will become the rule rather than the exception =D

This is the issue ive been waiting for. I’ll go to NatBookStore later to get it (buy it, that is. Hey m-ph, hear me out: Since your mag comes in a huge size, it will be more appreciative if you put/place a “monthly” calendar in the centerfold (?) while were at it… A 2005 calendar will be great. hehehe.

edit: hey ive read it. darn good one. Volts Sanchez rocks!!!! you should have also mentioned his gameboy and his pokemon. I would really like to see more of Mr. Sanchez’s works on your later issues. Keep it up!

Wow, this magazine really hit home. The article with the most impact for me was the one by Art Ilano re: Moore’s Law. I will definitely wait till 2006. All the gear I have now are prettyyoung. My oldest gadget is the laptop which is 20 months old. My N7610 and IPAQ 4350 is less than six months old but I have been greedily eyeing new gadgets like the Alienware laptop, XDA IIs,Nokia bluetooth keyboard, Casio Exilim S-100 etc.. The greatest lessons I have learned in all this is that yes, the euphoria does die out once you buy the item, if you wait long enough you may not want it anymore or you will be able to afford it eventually and someone will always have a better gadget than you.

This is the first issue since your july-august that I have not bought anything featured, but it is definitely one that has made the most impact and one that I am not likely to forget. Thanks for the valuable lesson.

This is your november issue right? how come ngayon (December 13) ko lang nakita sa newstand!? Ang tagal naman… (i always anticipate every issue of this mag and seeing your new issue in newstands always gets me excited) akala ko tuloy December-November issue ‘yung iri-release nyo..

Just got mine before Christmas Day….nice cover and articles…lots of devices from Carlo’s article on his trip to HK and China. kelan kaya magkakaroon ng same big event dito sa Pinas?

More power to the M-Ph team.
