Beware digital SLR!!

I do not know what to say, Samsung. Really …

7-mp

… so I will just summarize into these three bullet points:

- removable lenses
- dSLR-like features
- 7MP with flash

Who cares about the phone? Wait for it’s Asian release in June 2005. Discuss! Discuss!

Initial impression: Looks rather clunky… though I’ll reserve my final commend *if* and *when* I actually see/hold the unit.

It’s a camera that happens to have a phone, and not the other way around. The difference may be subtle, but it’s there. Phone lovers won’t necessarily fall for this device. Camera lovers who don’t care too much for phones, however, might. At least they won’t have to lug around their phones anymore.

Well, I’m looking at it. I thought it was weird that the flash near the bottom of the lens.
Until I realize that the camera is upside-down. :P
In any case, it doesn’t look clunky to me. Rather, it looks breakable. The form of it all also looks to be quite unstable.

No way will this even eat up into the DSLR realm…

first of all, the sensor is way too small to even produce high quality images… now if it had a sensor which is at least equivalent to DX format film or 135 format film, then maybe… but really small sensors really just create too much noise or each pixel has the tendency to get overcharged thereby letting the current bridge over to the next sensor, resulting in bleeding images…

of course it wont carlo! its a cameraphone!

:D

What a sad attempt to cross a wannabe point-and-shoot camera and a mobile phone. 7 megapixels on a phone? Wow! What exactly are you trying to capture?
