…and Google Talked!

Google Talk
Google is finally starting its bid to take over the world! Right after launching its revolutionary GMail, it is now starting to make a buzz in the IM (Instant Messaging) arena by launching Google Talk. Google Talk is an all-in-one client that enables existing GMail users to do Instant Messaging and VOIP (Voice-Over-IP). My initial tests shows that it has no trouble passing through firewalls and adding “buddies” is a snap, especially if your prospective buddies are GMail users.

The client software is obviously in its early stages but if this is an indication of things to come from Google, I can’t wait for it to get better.

another great app from google is google earth!

wow!

not only as an IM, you can use it as a free SMS messenger for those chikka users

And Google Earth was what Steve Jobs demonstrated when he introduced the iPhone a few weeks back. And since its powered by OSX, the Safari browser can easily download, install & run Google Talk. Add that to the built-in Wi-Fi and you’re ready to make free calls, yes even Skype calls, anywhere. Just don’t tell the local cellular carriers that one. Hmmm, I guess that Sony MyLo has to go the way of the PSP too then within a few more months. Tough luck, the world just became even smaller now.
