I just want to make a quick report that the XBOX 360 is already available locally. Whether it is a legitimate import or not, I don’t know at the moment since I did not even entered the store where I took this picture. But the price! It’s pretty expensive for a gaming console. I’m sure it already includes the “Early Adopter’s Tax”. Click on the link below to see the picture.

On Saturday I saw the premium Japanese version at Kidz Station Shangri-la, selling for P35k. Go for it Adel!

was listening to leo laporte’s podcast of 2 weeks ago where they were talking about the xbox 360. special guest was john dvorak.
apparently, the general sentiment was that you need to keep this thing in an open air place with no rug underneath. it is also very noisy, because the fans need to cool 3 processors.
funny thing was — dvorak’s 360 was perfectly fine!!! it never hung and it wasnt noisy. what ya think? special review unit?

that’s the japanese xbox360…i understand it has region-locking issues so not all US games will work with it (until someone hacks it, of course).
toy kingdom sells the US Core version for 58k!!!!! wonder how much they’ll charge once for the Premium version
