The cheapest USB Bluetooth dongle ever

Agh! CD-R King does it again. The same company that brought you the P150 optical mouse, the P350 all-in-one card reader and the P300 USB 2.0 hub now brings you the P550 USB Bluetooth dongle! You heard it right, just P550, whereas your typical generic-looking Bluetooth dongle would range from a thousand to two thousand pesos at the computer stands! And considering that I just gave a Bluetooth dongle as a Christmas gift to a good friend of mine, I'm banging my head... not because I could have given a cheaper dongle, but because the appearance of a P550 dongle now somewhat dilutes the value of all Bluetooth dongles in general! Ah well, that's progress for you. So what's next, CD-R King? A ninehundred-peso Bluetooth headset perhaps? A thousand-peso Wi-Fi router? A fifty-peso SmartWrap?

hi mark reuben,

any CD-R king branch would have them. All Ayala malls and SM malls have branches :)

Does it support the profile where you can redirect audio to the Bt headset? If it does, I'll head on over to my suking CDR-King to get one ASAP!

Hello, Mark!

If you're in the Cubao area, there's a CD-R King shop at the ground floor of Farmer's Plaza. There's also another CD-R King shop next to the Aurora Blvd entrance of Gateway Mall. :)

I'm still thinking if I should get a second bluetooth dongle for my desktop computer or just hold out for a wifi router or the CD-R King card reader. I'm definitely going need one after my not-so-good experience with the 512mb memory stick of my W800i. :(

Hey, CD-R King's coming up with really great stuff! :)

Hello guyz! I just need help on something. I recently bought CD-R King's 35 in 1 card reader for P350 but my Nokia 6230's memory card won't work on the reader. The CD-R king vendor even told me that any monile MMC works. The reader can't detect my MMC ... is there a reader driver need to be installed? Is there someone here who also experiences the same problem with me? Hope my 350 won't be wasted.

Glen: Hope my 350 won't be wasted.

Hi Glen! Are you on Windows XP?

Just to double-check, I tried my 6230i's MMC card on a CD-R King 23-in-1 card reader. No problem at all.

Make sure you're inserting the card the right way. The infernal thing about many card readers is that they don't tell you which way ought to be up. Of course the right way would be that which allows you to push the card in deeper. In fact, sometimes the problem is simply bad connections between the contacts, and, if you push the card enough, it will finally work.

If all else fails, get CD-R King to replace the unit. :) There's no reason why the MMC card wouldn't work on the card reader.

pls make sure that your memory card is formatted.
