Poll: This is how I enjoy a good book

For our second poll, we’ve always wondered what format we prefer our books. Some would say that the good ‘ol paperback can never be replaced. There’s a classic and learned feel when you flip the pages - the smell of inked paper, maybe?

Of course, the more digitally enlightened would go for eBooks, which are more portable for your PDA. Others too would prefer audiobooks which is basically your little recorded entertainment theatre in your little earbud world.

One thing’s for sure though — these different formats present their own unique advantages and disadvantages. We would be glad to hear your thoughts too in the comments!

Scroll down for our poll! Happy reading!

I’ve been an *avid* ebook reader since I became a Palm user. I loved the idea of being able to bring with me book and being able to sit in a corner anywhere and read. I long for the day when ebooks become really mainstream locally and I hope that by the time my 5-year-old kid starts “real” school, all his textbooks would be in ebook format so that he won’t have to break his back carrying those kilograms and kilograms of dead trees on his backpack.

As much as I enjoy gadgets, I prefer the paperpack when it comes to books. I love the idea of turning page after page and getting lost in the world that the author has created for you. And nothing beats the smell of crisp new books and the musty old ones, too.

For reference booksI prefer ebooks which i keep i my PDA for portabiliy purposes so I don’t need to carry those thick heavy paperback books.
But of course I still want paper back book specially foe\r Novels which I always leave at home
