ASUS had announced the V80 late last month. Riding on the popularity of the ultra slims, we’re soon going to see a menthol version one of these days.

This is a great phone even without 3G the price is about 14 thousand pesos.

I would like to recomend this phone to all phone users that don’t wan’t to use 3G.

To it’s price it’s very very affordable and plus it’s speakers are very loud like Asus V75.

Available in November 16 2006 in all wellcom in metro manila

V80 cost only 10,400 pesos. The cheapest 2mp camera phone in the market that is not a “Gray unit”.

sorry sa delay ng reply, just reformated my PC.

Grey Untis or Gray units : Units that are not processed by the NTC.

sa madaling salita, puslit ng customs katulad ng mga NOkia, Motorola, samsung at sony ericsson units.

Un mga sobrang mura pero walang warranty at inspection ng NTC which is illegal.

V80 now available nationwide. at all wellcom

May nakapag-update na ba ng firmware ng Asus V80?

parang ayaw ma-update eh. pano ba ang instructions and ano ang lalabas sa screen. almost 30 minutes na, hindi ko malaman kung nade-detect ba ung asus ko nung pang-update ng firmware..

where is the nearest wellcom store that has available v80? is the 10,400 the fix price for the v80? i checked the webiste of wellcom (http://www.e-wellcom.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=49) i think, it’s not really updated.. hope to hear your response soon.. :)

I have just purchased my V80 last month and discovered that my phone saving my messages to secret messsages the spelling was secert messages. is asus company can correct this? hope still asus can improved this phone to lessen how messages are sent because it takes how many keys to punch before sending messages.

nag download ako ng firmware update V75 ver. 12 that is fix for sending sms messages, what I experience is umabot ng 3 hours di pa rin tapos what I know is 5 mins lang ang upgrading time.. any comments/suggestions on my facts?

V80 is great. for people who own V75 (like me) its great now that it has bluetooth capabilities. would have bought it, but saving up for the Asus P535. hehe…

yah right asus phones have great features in low price but i tell u this….asus is very low in quality believe me…. im also one of the victims who buy this brand of phone and it just lasted two months…and i thought it’s nothing…it will be okay again after the repairment of that phones because i have naman warranty…
and yun nga akala ko lang yun…pero now sira nanaman ulit! 3x na nasisira tong sakin…take note 7 months p lang tong cp q… and even other people i know na naging victim ng asus…. ganun rin ang nangyari!!!

kaya yun…bhala kayo kung gusto nyo pang bumili ng asus…

I bought my V80 phone the moment they released it.
It’s firmware way back then was V 4.10 now I have successfully upgraded mine to Firmware V 4.11. Di naman ako nahirapan sa pag upgrade as in madali lang naman. if you want help on how u can upgrade it ask me.
As for the quality, 10 times ko na atang nababagsak to pero wala pa akong nakikitang problema. It’s absolutely tough.. I have a 2GB mini SD card for it sabi ng official site hnggng 1GB lang daw ang pede pero ala naman akong nagiging problema with it..
So overall for me, V80 is a very good, very tough phone!

affordable nga ang price ng V80, ok ang features, sulit!..
ang tanong ko ay pano ba i-upgrade ang firmware? cnubukan ko last time, hindi ma-detect ng pc ang phone ko.. ang tagal kong naghintay, walang nangyari..saka pwede bang maglagay ng ibang application sa V80? tulad ng sa mga NOKIA phones? pwede ba sa V80 ang OGGPLAYER or I-TUNES?

1.) Pede po ba magamit ang ASUS V66 as a modem? Anu po bang mga configurations nito at magkano.

2.) Kaya ba ng ASUS v66 ang 2GB Mini SD Card?

i need your help. i’ve got my asus v80 white (almost 1 year) my problem s the joystick - rubber(at the center).. it easily remove to the button. where i can buy the rubber for replacement? and also the casing or housing?
