Apple just aired an iPhone teaser ad during the live Oscars broadcast today, the first one anywhere. In effect, they added several thousand gallons of lighter fluid to the already blazing conflagration of hype surrounding the release of the most anticipated gadget since the wheel. It’s essentially a mash-up of clips of celebs in different movies and TV shows from the past and present saying “hello” on the various iterations of the phone through the years. Nice. Thanks for that, Apple. Now, could I want one even more? Sheesh.
