Sony Ericsson K660i: Surf this way

Internet made easy
Sony Ericsson has just announced it latest addition to its K-series of phones: the K660i. Sporting a familiar keypad layout reminiscent of other Sony Ericsson phones, it does come in a new and more vibrant colorful scheme, but what really sets this new handset apart is its new web-optimized features. Unlike traditional candybar phones, the K660i allows you to surf the web horizontally giving users a much bigger display to view internet content and provides a more similar experience to a traditional desktop though I still doubt if it comes even remotely close to what the iPhone offers. It also comes with internet shortcut keys, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and music player with FM radio. It’s set to come out in the 1st quarter of 2008 which is just a month and a couple of weeks away.

Personally, I wish they’d come out with a completely new design because seriously, they’re starting to look like clones of one another with minor differences, I can hardly tell them apart already. But hey, if it works and sells, who am I to complain now?
