Rip CDs on the Go

Kids these days are getting smarter and more resourceful as we speak, and there’s no better example than these Aussie college students who managed to bag themselves a handsome amount of cash for their invention: the Pyglet, a CD-ripping device that transfers music to mp3 players.

The young lads and their invention, the Pyglet

So what’s new about this? Well, this device does it all minus a computer for on-the-go ripping performance. Leave to a bunch of students to come up with a device that meets the needs of fellow students and ordinary folk as well: a hassle free solution that allows you to load music from your CD to your DAP. I bet music pirates all-over the world are smiling on this bit of news, but unfortunately, this product isn’t commercially available (yet) as they are still fresh from the heels of sweet victory after winning first prize in a recent eChallenge event in Australia. Good jobs ‘mate, keep up the good work!
