iPod Touch & iPhone: More to Store


This is the day early adopters and those with low EQ have been dreading. Apple has announced the release of the beefed-up models of the iPod Touch and iPhone that comes with more storage capacity.
 
More touch with 32 GB storageThe iPod Touch, for its part, now comes with 32 GB which can approximately store up to 7000 songs (128-kbps AAC format) or 40 hours of video. With this release, it now out-weights my iPod 5th Gen 30 GB by just a couple more gigs. Safe to say, I’m now really tempted to get me a Touch.

More phone with 16 GB capacity The iPhone likewise doubles up on its capacity now offering 16 GB of storage.
This is probably in anticipation for the SDK release scheduled this month, but the question now is, which model will be making its debut in Asia this year?

Rumor has it that a 3G capable version will be released in Japan, but how about the Philippines? Even if it won’t be the 3G version, the 16 GB version is surely a welcome treat if it’s the pioneering model in our country.   

So don’t be surprised if there’s a sudden surge of pre-owned iPhones and Touches hitting the market one of these days as these new models will surely drive fanboys for a quick upgrade.

i actually sold my 16GB iPod Touch the day the 32GB version was released. =D

now waiting for the stocks of 32GB Touches to arrive here.

nice gadgets but if u really want more of it stick to the iphone more better than ipod touch actually the nano was better than ipod touch.

i saw an iPhone at games and gadgets in Park Square 1, is it really an Apple iPhone and would it work with either Globe or Smart?

There’s no denying that the iPhone is already available locally albeit it not being officially released yet. It won’t work with local networks out of the box, but after certain tweaking, you can.

While a number of stores are already selling the iPhone, just be wary of the imitationunits out there. I’m not sure if what you saw is a legit unit, but I’m not saying its not either. Just be careful and examine the unit closely and you’ll find out, more often than not, if it’s the real deal or not.
