Taking a much less noticeable route as opposed to all the media frenzy that was the
World Mobile Congress,
Nokia gave what was supposedly a
secret picture of the
upcoming E71 in an event in
Sydney, Australia. Reported specs of this model include
HSDPA,
Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth and
MicroSD card support; and a
3.2-megapixel for imaging. The
QWERTY keypad is still present and an on-board
GPS system is also rumored to be part of the package. The E71 is the successor of the
E61 which is the most successful smartphone to come from Finnish company, and we’re hoping that this new unit will not disappoint as well.
There’s still no official announcement from Nokia as to the target release date, but since it was in Australia where it made a brief appearance, I'm guessing it'll hit the Asian market pretty soon.
Looks nice but the keys are too close together. Difficult for guys with huge hands (like me) to hold. Still, HSDPA and built-in GPS sounds good. :)
I actually find the Nokia E61i pretty wide and tough to type in on hand.. E71 looks good !
The E61 was my first choice for a phone but, I opted to go for the E65 since I ound the E61 to be too bulky.
just what i waz looking 4!!

The E71 displays only 5 lines of text with huuuuge space between the lines. Whereas it can display 10 lines when you are reading mail headers.
Decreasing the font size won't decrease the line height, so you get cramped little characters in lines as thick as my finger.

Yes great little phones... The E71 clearly stands out from the rest as being a sturdy business phone for everyday use. Huskies for Sale
