Ynzal losing Apple Reseller Status

Here’s a bit of sad news for the Philippine Apple community. Ynzal is losing their Apple Reseller status due to an unfortunate incident. The company has posted a public announcement on their website informing the general public that effetive July 29, 2008 they will no longer be recognized as an authorized Apple Reseller. They have already appealed their case and are hoping that Apple’s early decision will be reconsidered.

Ynzal and Apple parting ways?

What’s the big deal about Ynzal? To be quite honest with you, they’re one of the few Apple resellers that I’ve come to know that have quite an extensive line of services and promotions for the consumers. Aside from the all-year-round educational promo (regardless of school) and clearance sale, they also sell certified pre-owned items as well providing buyers with a variety of options for them purchase their Mac system. Getting a warranty claim is likewise a breeze (at least in my experience) which is more than what I can say with the other Apple stores in the Metro.

So you see, it really is sad to hear them bid farewell. Nevertheless, we are still hoping for a positive turn of events in the coming days.
