Recycle your Phone and Run

With so many new mobile phones hitting the market almost every other month, upgrading to a brand new handset isn’t as hard as it was in the past. As a consequence of this, the number of discarded mobile phones have increased dramatically over the years and disposing of them properly, isn’t exactly on top of ones priority list. Click to enlarge So why don’t you head on over to Bonifacio Global City on December 6 and donate your old mobile phone and accessories to help protect the environment. Together with Nokia, the Recycle your Phone and Run is a great venue where you can get rid of your outdate phones. The event also serves to kick off Nokia’s E-cycling campaign. For every kilo of raw materials collected, Nokia will make a donation to Bantay Kalikasan for the continued rehabilitation of the La Mesa Watershed. Likewise, there’s also a 3K and 5K run which you can join. If you want to participate in the run, better get up early as registration begins at 5:00 am. So if you don’t know what to do with your growing collection of unused cellphones and accessories, just bring them over this Saturday. If you can’t make it, I believe Nokia concept stores also have recycle bins where you dispose of your old mobile phones and accessories properly. Let's all be responsible for the environment and one simple way of doing our part is by segrating our old gadgets that contain toxic electronic waste from rest of the ordinary trash.

This needs to be pushed more and more. We all need to recycle are phones when we are done. accutane lawyers

Every company nowadays wants to profit using the "go green" type of logos and slogans spread at different shared info sources like http://filecraft.com/ etc. I think its fake care of the environment because it is not supported by any real action from either side. But still, we live in the time when we have to make a choice. We can choose to go down the road towards green prosperity and a more sustainable future. Or we can choose a pathway to stalemate and do nothing about climate change leaving an enormous bill for our kids and grand-kids to pay. It really isn’t that hard a choice.

More than 60 million old mobile phones end up in landfills around the country each year. And these phones not only occupy valuable land, but also chemicals leach into the soil, potentially dangerous, such as cadmium, lithium and mercury. These chemicals can then end up in rivers, creeks and streams.

So if you don’t know what to do with your growing collection of unused cellphones and accessories, just bring them over this Saturday. If you can’t make it, I believe Nokia concept stores also have recycle bins where you dispose of your old mobile phones and accessories properly. Recycling is very important and you can actually make money from your trash:)) But people find it way easier to just throw it away... Maybe they should learn about how some companies offer dumpster rental for companies that recycle all kind of trash...
