Those who love the form factor and general features of the Nokia E71 but can’t afford its somewhat hefty price tag will be happy to know that the Nokia E63 is now available locally for just P14,200.
With its slightly toned down set of features, the big question on everybody's mind is if it's worth it. It actually really depends. I don’t mind so much the lower megapixel count of the integrated camera, but the lack of HSDPA connectivity might be an area of concern especially for those who are planning to use it as a 3.5G modem of sorts to partner with their laptop. However, I figure that the inclusion of WiFi might prove to be sufficient enough for others. More over, at its price point, this has got to be the most affordable QWERTY-enabled device to come from Nokia.
Besides, the Nokia E63’s feature set is actually pretty decent on its own. It may not be as loaded as the E71, but it’s definitely good enough to serve its target market.

it was nice..good to see the price is cut-off.
Is it available in Nokia stores? I called up Nokia yesterday and they said it's due for release 1Q 2009. Would appreciate if you can indetify shops that offer this wonderful product. Thank you
I don’t mind so much the lower megapixel count of the integrated camera, but the lack of HSDPA connectivity might be an area of concern especially for those who are planning to use it as a 3.5G modem of sorts to partner with their laptop,I agree keep up the good work.

The Nokia E63 is already available at all Nokia Stores and authorized retail shops nationwide.
And are they Nokia Stores following the 14,200Php price?
The P14,200 is the SRP of the Nokia E63 as provided by Nokia Philippines, which basically means that it's the selling price at Nokia stores.
does nokia comes up with installment plan of payment?
yes, they have installment schemes for credit card payments.
i bought mine yesterday at nokia store mega. they are offering installment payments for 6 mos. and 12 mos. i guess, the color of my unit is aquamarine blue and i like it, i still have to observe its funtionality though. i've been eyeing for this unit since december and finally my husband bought 1 for me. yeheey! :)
I think i saw some stores in sm selling this cool gadget for just 11k.
