iPhone 3G Unlock now Available


The highly awaited and anticipated iPhone 3G unlock called Yellowsnow is now available.

You do need to have the latest 2.2 firmware installed and jailbreak it first before you can proceed with the unlock, but after you’ve done that, simply install the app via Cydia/Installer, return to the Cydia Main Menu, reboot with the new SIM inserted , wait for 10-15 seconds before sliding to unlock, and that’s it, your’re done! However, do note that this is still a beta version so don’t be surprised if you hit some bumps along the way. PIN support is not available yet so you better disable PIN request on your SIM before proceeding. With that being said and you’re more than ready to give this unlock a try, you can find Yellowsnow at the following locations:

Those are the sources in Cydia and Installer on your jailbroken iPhone. Those won’t work on your computer.

It doesn’t work. New inserted SIM card cannot connect to its network.

you might as well get an HTC unlocked unit, more features more power than an iphone, go find one now.

Sorry for providing a vrong version.
I was using 0.9.5 version.
My iPhone is locked by Orange Switzerland and cannot connect to Swisscom.

I am a 71 year old man with a liner mind. I am trying to install yellowSnow on my iPhone. I have Cydia downloaded but do not know how to use it to download yellowSnow.
Could one of you young folks help an old man?

the iPhone 3G looks very cool and feature packed. i will be saving some of my allowance to buy that phone.
