Red Tag Sale at Ynzal

Ynzal Red Tag Sale  Starting yesterday, Ynzal has put all of their items, ranging from Mac systems and iPods to 3rd party peripherals and accessories, on sale. This is probably to get rid of their old stock considering that it’s time for the mid-year inventory, but it’s more likely a result of the recent events that led to the revocation of their Apple Reseller license. You can download a copy of the pricelist here if you want to see if its worth braving the rain and metro traffic, but to be quite honest, some of the items on sale are really quite tempting. There’s no definite time frame for the sale and it’s up until supplies last only. The timing is just right especially after a payday so you can now spruce up your worn out iPod with a new case or finally get your very first Mac at a more affordable price.
3G iPhone's ETA is on Aug. 22  According to MobileWhack, the 3G iPhone is set to be released in 42 more countries and that includes us, the Philippines. August 22 is the D-Day for all you iPhone-atics out who have been on the edge of their seat waiting for the local release. Click to enlarge Though I’m quite happy about this bit of info, I’m still a bit skeptical with this one since original only 22 countries where slated for the release. It was only during a quarterly conference that the additional 20 more countries where announced though no specifics were given according to Macworld. You also need to take into consideration the local buzz that's leaning towards a September release date, not August. There's also Apple’s inability to cope with the demand that has left many would-be buyers frustrated over the fact that they’re unable to purchase one even in the motherland of the iPhone, the USA of all places. What more in other countries? Anyway, it’s still a shade under a month away and I guess that’s enough time for more news to leak out regarding its inevitable local debut. Keep your fingers crossed and stayed tuned guys. The countdown is about to begin.
With the start of a brand new year, we usually come to terms with letting go of the past and looking forward to a fresh new start. I guess this is the same scenario with those who managed to stay loyal with the original rival of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, the Netscape Navigator. Goodbye Netscape Navigator and thank you It was first commercially launched back in October 1994 and is set to be laid to rest on February 1, 2008. According to Tom Drapeau, Director of AOL/Netscape development, most of their current efforts are now aimed at creating a Firefox browser with the appearance and feel of the Navigator. Forced out of business due to poor market performance against Internet Explorer (and other browsers), version 9 will be the last iteration of one the forefathers in internet browser history. Support will cease to run on February 1, 2008. Thank you Netscape for providing us with an alternative to the Microsoft Internet Explorer back in the days, your efforts did not go to waste.
